Joseph Augustus Seiss (1823-1904) was one of the most effective and popular Lutheran preachers of the nineteenth century. In addition to his pastoral duties, he was active as a lecturer and writer. His more than a dozen works include The Gospel in Leviticus, Lectures on Hebrews, and The Apocalypse.
For a book published in the 19th century, it does show much of its time, rather than of the Pyramid. It is interesting to read a book about world time lines without the all important World Wars. I am not sure how much to acknowledge from this book, but it is always important to read for different perspectives.
Very interesting read to discover the bibilical connections. The author gives a thought provoking discussion regarding Job/Melchesidec and the Shepherd Kings connections regarding the building of the Great Pyramid.
