Ray was born under the wonderful protection of their Great Tree with a dad that got him a job as an alloy scout. First day on the job he realizes it might be dangerous hunting burning rocks that are falling from the sky with the impact of a mini earthquake. Ray almost dies to mana beast, pets an ivory, and grabs the attention of what may be a quack sage claiming he's trying to save them all. Oh, and he listened to an argument about a leg that died ten years ago.
