We buy houses--rough ones. Fix them. Sell them. And sometimes, underneath the layers of hoarded items or the peeling wallpaper or the old carpet stained with every conceivable fluid known to humankind, I find more than just a good house, waiting to be discovered. I find a lesson for my life I needed to learn. Hopefully, through these stories, you will too.
