Princess Victory Rules

Rate this book
Princess Victory, a dog, has found herself without a home, but certainly not without a plan. Using her inherent cuteness as a tool, she convinces her future mom and dad to adopt her. There is just one problem, they were looking at adopting two dogs. Damien is the opposite of Victory in almost every way. They must work together to find a way to share the new home that they find themselves in, all while appearing to be normal dogs to their parents rather than a princess and her jester. Every Tues.

A cute book about a dog who gets placed in a new home by the shelter with her new friend and court jester, Damien.

It is written entirely from the viewpoint of Victory the dog, including explanations about what her family says and does.
The book is like the dog's diary, with day to day retellings of adventures and snacks for the first year they are adopted.

As a previous dog owner I recognized so much about the interactions and insights by Victory and this book is a lovely read for any dog lover!

It is also a very nice book to read with your kids or let them read it for themselves, as there are no negative or hurtful things in this book. It is just an overall lovely read and gives you a feel-good experience.
