Teagan Price has a habit of jumping first and asking questions later, but it hasn't been a problem until she agrees to be the face of Titter's new marketing campaign. The burlesque lounge is finally getting the attention it deserves, but her spot as their star performer is supposed to be a well-guarded secret. Why else would she wear a mask every performance? But Teagan's identity isn't the only secret in danger when River Williams, her older brother's best friend, shows up in the front row...
I enjoyed reading this book. I love spicy, banter-filled, romcoms.
I understand the FMC about chasing her dreams. I don’t think I could have done what my family wanted of me either if I was in her position. I’m glad she did what she wanted to do.
The MMC was a little complicated because we only got bits and pieces of how he ended up where he did. I wish there would have been more background story for him. Also showing where they interacted together as kids and teens.
The only issue I really had was the FMC kind of got on my nerves a few times. Especially when he tried to explain himself when he realized he loved her. He got a few words out and she just bolted and ran thousands of miles instead of listening. I know it says she’s impulsive in the book but geez.
All in all I do believe this a good book and a good read if you like spicy romcoms.

I love a good brother's best friend romance. The angst and forbidden story gets me every time. Teagan and River had this pull to one another and it was exciting and spicy.

This is book two in the “Backbone & Burlesque” series and is best read after book one. Teagan is part of the fabric of New York burlesque club Titter. As Tease, she enthrals the audience with her seductive and passionate routines and as Teagan she creates all the dances and keeps the other dancers motivated. What no one knows is that she’s supposed to be elsewhere studying to join her family’s business, but she followed her heart to New York to be a dancer and with the hope of seeing River, the man she loves. When River shows up at the club one night with Teagan’s brother in tow, her life as she knows it appears to be about to implode.
In Teagan the author has created a unique, driven, passionate and vulnerable character who is fierce and unstoppable one minute and seized by doubt and anxiety the next. You can’t help but root for her as she battles with how she feels about her career as a dancer, her place in her family and the love of her life. River is a steadying and soothing presence but struggles with his feelings for Teagan, his best friend’s little sister, and his own family troubles. Highly recommended for readers looking for an intoxicating story with passion, steam, emotion and heart wrenching dilemmas.

Tease was an absolute pleasure to read and I didn’t want to set the book down for a second. This is the first book that I have gotten to ready from Author Mia Sparrow and she did NOT disappoint me in anyway whatsoever with this remarkable forbidden romance. In my honest opinion, Mia Sparrow is a fantastic author who does her best with putting everything into the books she writes for her readers, and I’m looking forward to reading more amazing books from her in the near future. The characters are marvelously written and beautifully executed throughout the book. Tease is a book that I would most definitely give as a recommendation for anyone who enjoys reading forbidden romances.

A forbidden brother’s best friend romance with a hidden career, throw in some burlesque and you have tease. For the record I love burlesque and if and when I have a chance to go into somewhere with a speak easy vibe I am in. So needless to say I was curious to read this book.
Reading about River and Teagan was like watching two magnets pull together in slow motion. The angst of we shouldn’t between them and the emotional roller coaster kept me turning pages.
There are a few curve balls that will have you going, wait what?!
By day she’s Teagan Price, a happy-go-lucky girl with a bona fide addiction to greasy takeout and a pesky tendency to jump first and ask questions later. At the burlesque lounge Titter…when the lights dim and the spotlight hits, she masquerades as Tease, sultry seductress extraordinaire. With her identity hidden behind a bejeweled mask, but there’s a teensy snag in the satin, and I can’t resist pulling at the threads. An intriguing read. I got a copy of the book and voluntarily leaving my review.
Tropes: workplace romance, forbidden romance, brother's best friend, friends to lovers, found family.
Teagan has a secret life behind her jeweled mask in her job as sultry seductress Tease, at the burlesque lounge Titter. Not wanting to follow the path she is expected to, she works her dream job at Titter. But when her crush, River, who is also her brother's best friend, is set to be working together with the club, what happens when her secret is found out?
An enticing read with great chemistry and spice between the main characters. Can't wait to read more in this series.
Fantastic second in series book. The story picks up another characters story, but also seamlessly follows from where we left off with the first book. If you haven't read book1 yet... stop go back i highly recommend it. The friend group in this series are highly supportive of each other, giving the book a kind of small town vibe while being based in New York. The mmc messes up, but the story has a hea. I can not wait for the installment
This book was like such a warm welcome back to the family of the burlesque Bar Titter. It was such a good storyline and wonderfully written, the characters revisited from the previous books were like welcoming old friends. The love story was so romantic and the intimacy scenes were super hot. I truly hope there are more stories to be written for the other characters.
I enjoyed reading this second book in the Backbone & Burlesque series. River and Teagan are a great match and you can feel the connection between them. The storyline hooked me from the start and held my interest all the way through. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.
