This was a really fun book! Short stories based on actual pioneer events. And they truly are odd. I thought the last one was rather interesting. Kind of gave you a look inside what a polygamous life might have been like.

My major complaint is that the book binding was kind of weak. My book started falling apart as I was reading it. Shirley is my aunt and I love her and I understand that you need to cut costs sometimes. I just wish she could find an affordable way to make her books a little more durable.

Fun conglomeration of pioneer stories told in a very simplistic first person way.
