I have read up to Chapter 239. This is a surprisingly great manga. It's not the usual Isekai trash, even if it does lean into some of the usual tropes. It has a bit of a rocky start, but is very rewarding to stick with. The manga also departs from the light novels and has eliminated all the nasty lewd nonsense... it's (mostly) wholesome.
Haruka does not want to acknowledge the love he has for those around him and always tries to find a way to frame his compassionate actions as ways to further his ambitions. Haruka gets a little more open throughout this series, but still is unable to shed his 'loner mask.' He has never been alone... he purposefully isolates himself. His need to feel worthy is literally killing him, as he is constantly trying to hold the weight of the world upon his shoulders. It'll be interesting to see how his classmates and everyone else he's saved will help him find his way out of this hole he's digging.
