This book did a great job at clarifying what the Bible says about the spiritual realm and what we as believers need to be looking out for in terms of what the culture says about angels and demons. While there wasn't a huge presence of practical application, this was an insightful read that was a great reminder that there is a very real spiritual battle going on that we need to be on guard against! It was more educational with small bits of application, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about what God's word says about the spiritual realm.

This book was a disappointment. The first chapter lived up to the title: narratives of people who experienced "angels" during times of trauma. However, the rest of the book deals in Biblical treatments of angels used to support the author's view of what angels are, with warnings about the Satanic beings from the other side, as well. It's good if you're looking for an essentially evangelical view of these beings.

I read this book because I guess I was curious about angels--and if they were among us. I believe the book could have been summed up in about 3 chapters...so it got a bit long in some parts. I also found myself having to refer to the bible a lot--as I do not have a lot of biblical knowledge and this book assumed one did. (It gave SEVERAL references to the bible throughout!) Overall, it wasn't bad. Interesting and thought-provoking for me.

With so many books being about Angels it is hard to find very many that are true to the Bible. This book puts God first over the Angelic realm. It teaches us about Angels and puts them in the proper perspective. I liked it.
