A great fictional tale to better understand the miracle and importance of Hanukkah. Even though we aren't Jewish, my three girls enjoyed this book at bedtime immensely. Ages 11, 8.5, and 6.
Clearly and well written for a young audience.

ETA: Read aloud to the kids during Hanukkah 2025 and it was a hit!

Great story for kids around 10-13. Not totally perfect, but a decent Hanukkah read aloud!
