This book was so good. So much good information and helps in it, I'm reading it again! I. Highly recommend it!

I read this book as part of a 9 week study group at my church (I belong to the United Church of Canada). I thought the book was fairly informative, however, I did not care for the evangelical slant of the author.
The author chose to use masculine pronouns and quote from the World English Bible, whereas I prefer the use of inclusive language and the NRSV (New Revised Standard Version of the Bible).
This book was published in 2003, so some of the information feels a bit dated. At least half of the websites the author refers to no longer exist.
I enjoyed the learning and fellowship of my study group, but I don't think I would have read this book on my own.

What a great book on Christian prayer. I recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about prayer and wanting learn how to pray.
