I really enjoy this book series. But I am really distracted by the extremely poor editing of them. It gets worse with each book. Some lines in the book make no sense as words are left out or things are repeated. (Example: "but Megan faltered when she wasn't saw she wasn't wearing. "....) They even mispelled character names. I mean, come on. It really takes away from the enjoyment of the story. BUT.. I was happy that they touched a little more on the palpable romance.. and the cliff hanger ending, oh my! I read this book in just one day and starting the next now...

Thoroughly enjoyed the first book of this series, it was well written and the plot was engaging. In all the subsequent books, the writing has become far less organized, took me forever to want to finish this book. I noticed significant amounts of grammatical errors and general errors in the writing of this book. A major distraction from the plot. Whoever the editor is, was not doing their job. The writing just seemed rushed.

I genuinely love the characters of this series, and the ending of this book was engaging. I will read the next book in hopes of it being better.

I really liked the story, but the narration is terrible. Words are mispronounced, sentences are cut off and the cadence is all wrong. At the end of the chapters, the narrator says: asterisk, asterisk, asterisk. That is just dumb.
I will keep reading because I really like the series otherwise .

Another quick read as book 4 in the Megan York series. Poorly edited with lots of mistakes the mystery was still entertaining and the saga continues with her ex husband Spencer and ex con inserting himself into her and her daughter’s lives.
