As she did in "Nureyev: His Life", Solway paints a deep and intimate portrait of an exquisite dancer in the Joffrey Ballet company whose life ended during the early scourge of AIDS. Stierle's brief and stellar career is powerfully captured; his spirit and creativity come to life through Solway's words and the incredible rare and beautiful photographs.

This biography is not just for those who love ballet; it's an inspiration of artistic vision and beauty brought to life.
