We really loved this book! I read Fools Gold 1st, and then got Walkers Gold. My hubby read Walkers Gold to me, as we drove to AZ and back. We live in Sanpete Valley, so a lot of the area mentioned is familiar to us. Hubby loved it so much that he is now reading Fools Gold. Thanks for the fun book!!

This book is well written and fun to read. Set in a small Utah town, I was able to relate to the characters. I really liked the main character, too. She was not a perfect size 1. The author made sure the readers could relate to her, as she was rather big by the world's standards, but I liked her a lot.

This was to be a love sotry but it turned out to be a great adventure into a old Mormon legend.

I read this quite a long time ago, I did like that she uses believable characters. I left me wanting to know what happens to the main character, Mattie.
