in my opinion, the most current, comprehensive collection of high level pieces on the state of being and thinking queer today. not for the casual reader, but literally the richest possible resource on queer theory.

Unfortunately the selections in this reader fall into the common trap of gender theory essays—they use jargon and opaque language to make their work less accessible. It is disappointing that work that could benefit many people is subject to academic gatekeeping.
