Sharp, and torqued, and just all around wondrous with its language. Muybridge makes a cameo, and that cinematic awe of the first moving pictures is echoed in Kevin's wry and thoughtful line. A true treat. Great cover design as well. The title poem is terrifying and marches forward with an eerie command that I've so rarely seen in horror treating truth-y kinds of writing (it's based on an actual club-burning in NY). Just, treat yourself, read this collection!
