The chemistry of love: no age, no time, no space, can weaken a real love. JJ and Cruz spend their time trying to avoid what they feel for each other for different reasons: JJ for the fear to be trapped again in an awful past, Cruz because doesn't belive to have found love in his old friend JJ. But together they are pure, hot adrenaline. The little mistery in the storyline is the bond that will seal their love. Love means trust and be trusted, love sometimes means make some sacrifice. I loved the happy ending of this book!!! The ring....Soooo romantic!! Why not 5 stars? Because I would have liked to read more...i hope in a sequel.

I decided to read this book because as someone who’s working in the medical field, it’s nice to be able to ponder if the situations shared in the book usually happens in reality.
JJ and Cruz have known each other since they were children. JJ came back to Arizona to start afresh. One thing she learned is to never let romance cross with work. But having Cruz in the same workplace won’t make it any easier. So can their relationship be possible or impossible?
JJ is a kick-ass E.R. doctor. I like her. I really felt for her. She came back from a slump and being in her situation is hard. I understand her reservations with Cruz although it’s undeniable she likes him.

On the other hand, Cruz is known to be a womanizer. When he sees JJ again after a long time, he imagines himself having a serious relationship with her. But it’s hard to convince JJ. Because of that, they have this push and pull relationship which became a bit tiring as the book went on. Despite that, Cruz is still persistent in pursuing JJ which made me love his character.

The book shifts from two POVs, JJ and Cruz’s. I usually like books that have the guy’s POV. I’m more into them and it’s such a good feeling to know what the guy is thinking. I just felt that the shifting is a bit confusing. I thought at first that the shifting happens every after each chapter but it’s not the case. One thing that made me finish the book is the twist that came in the latter part of the book.

If you want romance and a little bit of suspense, try this one out!
