"How To Lower Your Score by Reading the Features of a Course." I had expected more from this well-known golf architect. There are some interesting insights but nothing revelatory concerning strategy. The photography is exquisite.
Some really good illustrations and a nice intro for newer golfers who want to learn about how the course should be played. More instructional than architectural.
I was hoping to get more out of this book, perhaps it is aimed more at a novice. Not to suggest there isn't good information here, just not much that was new to me. This would be an excellent read for a beginning golfer, it would get you thinking about how to manage the course right from the start. Overall, I enjoyed it and will keep it around for reference. Has some nice photos too.
