I run Swingin' Schlay Productions, a porn studio and one of many legit businesses that fill my own coffers, as well as the coffers of the Mischpocheh Consortium. Right before our Avinu, Moshe and his fiance Seril tie the knot, a new acquisition at the studio has me questioning who I am as a man and what I want out of life most. One pleasured plea and I know in my soul, that I no longer only serve Moshe and the family, I serve her...and I will ignore concussions and warnings to shed all the blood necessary to keep her safe.Because she is mine.Author's Jonah is book two of the Kosher Nostra series, part of the Covenenat of Ascent. All three series under the COA can be read as standalone, or together for a more enjoyment. This book contains coarse language and strong sexual content. There were a lot of funny moments in this one, mostly due to the sexual puns, which totally fit the storyline. Jonah is the head of the porn for the family and boy do they love giving him crap about it filled with porn puns.
I thought it interesting that Jonah was instantly smitten with Harper and didn't mind her line of work as a cam girl. I thought for sure he would make her stop, but that didn't happen. I thought the family might hold Harper's job against her, but that didn't happen either, instead the women were asking her for advice. About the only bad thing that came about Harper's job was when Jonah learned his parents watched her stuff and realized the connection.
The drama with the government coming after them was crazy! I was glad that they figured out things and were able to put a stop to things and make things easier for their businesses to run in the future.

I loved the first book and this one was fucking amazing. I can't wait for more. This one hade me on the edge of my seat.

This was one of the worse “romance” books I’ve ever read. The H is a slut man whore is not enough of a strong statement. The h is a cam girl who goes to work for the H’s company. He watched her videos and he wants her badly. He has a ongoing situation with a porn star who is an employee and literally the h meets the OW when she leaving his office wiping his cum from the corner of her mouth and the H is doing up his pants. The h has a stalker as well.
They start having sex the H is he wants her and only her. The h gets kidnapped by her stalker. So at almost the end of the book after the rescue he gets a good friend to join him and the h for a night of sex. Full on threesome. He does not feel possessive no jealousy he wants to go it for her lol. She goes along with it and enjoys it. I’m sorry but this not sell a love story. It was bad enough how they meet and his past with OW working there still with easy access. This just felt wrong not only for not selling their love story but also this is almost at the end of the book. I know there is a lot of different types of relationships out there that works for those individuals but I feel like this does not belong in a love story about a M/F pairing. If this was going to be a MMF love story with a relationship developing over the book that’s different. I would have most likely not have read it but at least it would have been a true relationship. I’m really sorry I read this and I don’t think I’ll read anything else by her.

The Jonah Schlay is totally slayed
Unexpected but ultimately welcomed and pursued, Jonah (Kosher Nostra Book 2) by Mirrah McGee falls hard and fast for breath of fresh air Harper Dean. In a world that is sex 24/7, Jonah never thought much beyond feeling good and enjoying the many benefits of his job. Then Harper starts working with his company and from the first glimpse, he’s smitten but doesn’t really understand what it all means. That cluelessness doesn’t last long.
I loved this book in the Kosher Nostra series! Honestly, I wasn’t sure about Jonah, but Harper and Jonah won over my heart.
Jonah and Harpers book is much more than their love story, which is awesome in it’s own rights, but the Kosher Nostra is under threat and Harper has her own danger to contend with as well.
Overall, this action-packed mafia romance is all go big or go home. The family, even in the midst of threat and dangerous chaos is welcoming to Harper. These two are so made for each other! And Jonah is swoon-worthy alpha with sweet, sexy and steadfast side that will cause all kinds of sweating and swooning, sometimes at the same time!

I really love the characters in this series! And excellent world building. I still laugh uproariously when I read “Kosher Nostra”. Every. Time. The plot is liberally laced with both erotic content and humor. The author wields humor with a deft hand and also knows when it’s time to be serious. This book treats serious topics, like PTSD and SA with care and respect. And encourages the heroine to seek therapy (yay!). There were a lot of times when I laughed and more than once I cried. And a book that evokes that much emotion is a really good story.
I borrowed this book on KU, but would gladly have paid for it. I’d read it again.

Harper is signing with Schlay Productions for her live cam feeds. She keeps her anonymity as well as owns her own sexuality. She also is hoping that Schlay Productions is better with security as she has a stalker

Not a bad read. There were some parts that just made me burst out laughing. The ladies were hilarious. I’m glad I decided to give this author another shot because I did enjoy reading Jonah’s story. I’m just not a fan of religion in my smut but it wasn’t too in your face in this story.
I would have liked a bit more development into the whole “stalker issue”. It really didn’t seem like it necessary to the storyline, more of an afterthought. More along the lines of “oops I forgot to tie that up so I’m just gonna stick this in real quick.” For the most part I liked it. Will continue on with this series.

I'm not a fan of erotic books due to how far they'll go. This is the case with this book. Reading about the story before I selected it, I saw no major warning. I enjoy mafia romance with a lot of steam, but this is beyond my test. That being said. The book was written well. I like how close the families are. I was not surprised what happened to Harper. They're a lot of sick people out there. Even though she loves sex in and out the BR, that's her choice. it's her body and no one has the right to think otherwise.

These are really good mafia stories that the three authors have written and it shows the difference between the actual mafia families, but they're all intertwined with each other and love and protect.
I enjoyed Jonah and Harper's story and yes a page turner. Harper had a stalker before she even joined Jonah's club and that's why she wanted the security they offered, but once Jonah heard her voice from the recording, he was pretty much done for, so to speak.
Highly recommend!! Happy reading!!

Jonah and Harper are brilliant.
We get to experience what a Jewish wedding is like.
We see more of the family and what a great family it is.
I love seeing them all together whether working or just hanging out.
I really like that no one judges Harper for her work choices and that Jonah doesn't go all Alpha and tries to stop her working.
They are a brilliant couple and perfect for each other!

Oh,how the mighty Jonah has fallen! It's always such a pleasure watching the playboys fall. All it took was one look at Harper, and Jonah fell hard!! This was a great couple to watch, fall in love, and so nice to see neither of them had a problem with their very adult jobs!! If you're looking for some laughs, a great family, and a little drama, this is another great book!!

The women of the porn studio were greedy for Jonah, the men who were supposed to be allies, the stalker all were greedy for one thing or another mostly power over the others. But if you are brought in and made part of the family they become very protective of you which Harper soon found out. Amazing story of power, love, obsession and evil with a HEA of course.

No need to fear because it is filled with family-friendly jibes that left me drying my eyes. It gave me wonderus understanding about the storyline and hubba hubba it was burning off the pages. It was funny, steamy, and giggly (is that a word?). Just read it.

A terrific addition to this series
What started out with a bit of trouble lead to a considerable amount, most known but some unknown. There were a few tragic situations, a couple that caused a significant amount of emotional turmoil for those involved. Will Jonah be able to help his forever love, or will it be the end for them? You'll have to read this to find out!

Wow. There’s a lot going on here. Jonah and Harper have an immediate attraction which immediately turns into something more. There’s a stalker and business troubles - with a couple surprises there. I read it all in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. I’m anxious to know more about some of the lingering dramas - can’t wait for the next one in the series.

Love this series!
I was introduced to Mirrah's work by Cee Bowerman and Ciara St James. I'm so glad the three decided to collaborate on the Covenant of Ascent series. Jonah and Harper are a great couple. I was looking forward to seeing how she would make a romance work in the setting of a porn business, and she executed it perfectly. Highly recommended.

i am just gonna say, this book is amazingly HOOOOTTT!!! I also love that Mirrah McGee wrote of a character that was not only a big girl but one that owns her smexuality! Jonah working where he does, has women at his fingers till he sets his eyes on Harper. Jonah and Harper are amazing thru their journey! awesome job!!!

Good installment to the series aside from the OW stuff. I loved book 1, though, and expected something similar but different. I was very disappointed. There was graphic on-page outside-the-relationship sex in this book, which is never okay in a romance book. I was very upset by this and not expecting it in this series.

I read this book in less than a day. I love the family dynamics and the relationship between Harper and Jonah. And there was just enough hints on what was going on with Ruth and the issue with Moshe and Zeppo to look forward to their stories. I highly recommend this story.

So far in her Mafia series Jonah is my favorite!! Her books should come with a warning cause her one liners come out of no where and if you happen to take a drink you are done for (lol) I wish I could give her more stars. If you haven’t read her books you are missing out.
