If her sister can marry well, and she can avoid Mr Collins, that is all the happiness Elizabeth Bennet can ask for. Alas, her own future is not yet close to settled, and she must endure three weeks in the company of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, who takes an immediate dislike to the elder of the two Bennet sisters. Mr Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet have decided to marry for the most pragmatic of so that they might each avoid being forced into less amiable matches. Darcy has succeeded in utterly alienating Lady Catherine de Bourgh. His cousins rally to his defence, but the marriage is beset by challenge, and once it becomes apparent that at least one party feels rather more strongly than they admitted, the practicality of the match is called into question. Lizzy's happy future with Mr Darcy is blighted only by the realisation that her sister, Jane, is miserable. Mr Bingley has suddenly departed Hertfordshire for London, and the match that seemed the most natural is all but abandoned.

Longbourn's Lark: A Pride and Prejudice Variation I loved this story so far and how all the characters were written. Mary and Colonel Richard Fitzwilliam's story was so well done in this book and I enjoyed seeing how the other couples interacted as well. I look forward to seeing what happens next in the next book in the series.
Three Weeks in Kent: A Pride and Prejudice Variation This book continues were Longbourn's Lark left off but the focus shifts from being centered on Mary & Richard to having a stronger focus on Elizabeth and Darcy. While the romantic focus in this story has shifted Mary and Richard still have a very large role in this story and I enjoyed seeing more of them. This book also starts to set up a story for Anne de Bourgh as well. I look forward to reading more of this story.
Suitably Wed: A Pride and Prejudice Variation This volume takes place mostly in London and revolves mostly around Elizabeth and Darcy's short engagement and beginning of their marriage alongside Mary and Colonel Fitzwilliam. Darcy and Elizabeth's relationship deepens throughout this book and they admit their feelings before the end of this book only to come across a new problem in the form of Anne de Bourgh running off to elope. I look forward to finding out what happens in the next book and how the story continues since the end of this one left me hanging a bit.
A Visit to Scotland: A Pride and Prejudice Variation This book continues were the last book in this series left off and has a lot of focus on Anne & Wickham as well as Wickham's relationship with Darcy. There are signs that he may be able to reform with Anne and actually care about her but it is too soon to say for sure, hopefully we will see some improvement to him in the next book in this series.
The Consequence of Haste: A Pride and Prejudice Variation I am really enjoying this series and how all the characters are evolving as well as seeing the different relationships present and developing. This book continues with Wickham's character improving himself and trying to become better for Anne. We also get to see more of Georgiana in this book and I look forward to reading more about her in the next book in this series.
A Surprise Engagement: A Pride and Prejudice Variation I really enjoyed this series as a whole and how all the characters were written. It was fun seeing how all their stories and romances came together and I enjoyed seeing some of the rarer pairings found in this series that I would not have expected to enjoy but they were written so well here that they worked. It would have been nice to have had an epilogue at the end of this but it left off on such a happy note that I can't really complain and left the story smiling. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
Poorly constructed and poorly edited and with many proofreading errors.
Much of the story was either contrived (Col Fitzwilliam and Mary instantly fall in love and become engaged within days of meeting) or contradictory (Bennet consents for Collins to marry Elizabeth with no explanation for why and no conversations with Elizabeth, but she is his favorite?)
I could not get past these weird story mistakes. Beyond Bennet’s willingness to give Elizabeth to Collins, there are plot points like the colonel’s parents are dead, but his older brother is not the earl? And then the colonel is an only child, except he has a brother. So confusing.
For a book that I had to buy, as it’s not in KU, I expect better quality. I made it to the 50% mark, and then I was faced with a romance and elopement between Anne de Bourgh and … Wickham!
Enough. This is time and money I’ll never recover. Best to move on to something better, and there are a lot of books to choose from KU and even stories that are free on fan fiction sites.
