I really enjoyed how immersive this book was regarding the culture during Biblical times. I learned so much about Egyptian history and the geography of the land surrounding the country. It seemed to ring true with the Bible, yet fleshed out enough to paint a clearer picture of Moses and his family. The plot and the characters were believable, and I liked how the stakes were so high throughout the book. A very enjoyable read.

I loved reading this book. It brought light to the story I learned in my childhood. I do like how she added at the end of the book which book was the sequel.
