Ritual is a key element of all religious and spiritual traditions. Cultures have rituals for life passages and a multitude of occasions. We also create, often unconsciously, many of our own personal rituals employed each day, which structure our lives and provide us with a sense of security and deeper meaning. What is the nature of ritual? What are its benefits to our mental health? How can we create and engage in rituals for our wellbeing and personal development? This book offers 9 keys to ritual for self-care, through the lens of transpersonal psychology . * The author is a health psychologist (PhD; resilience) with a transpersonal focus (MA), a passion for positive psychology, and a keen interest in the influence of culture.
