Victorian Passions: Volume 5
We are proud to present the next book of a 20-volume edition of classics of the erotic genre published before World War II. A total of 104 titles are included, most of them from the pen of authors who, for obvious reasons, wished to conceal their real names. This approach, on the other hand, allowed them to give free reins to their unbridled imagination and go wild, so that the eroticism in their works is at times over the top, remaining the benchmark for the authors of contemporary obscene books. Just do not try to repeat the described feats at home.
Well, not all of them.
We've warned you.

About the author
Igor Boyko
51 books3 followersI was born in 1959 in Kyiv. In 1976, I enrolled at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Faculty of Cybernetics, specializing in applied mathematics. After completing my fourth year, I transferred to the A. F. Mozhaysky Military Space Academy (VIKI) in Leningrad, entering directly into the fifth year of my education. In 1981 I graduated as a military engineer-mathematician—a deliberate and refreshing new start in my life.
In 1981, after receiving my lieutenant’s rank, I was assigned to Crimea to process telemetry data from numerous spacecraft. Two years later, I began assisting in the control of deep space missions, which led me to the team managing the Lunokhod rovers. Soon after, I was invited to join their department, an opportunity I gladly accepted.
Subsequently, I was transferred to Moscow, where I had the chance to deepen my knowledge of English by reading original English and American literature. Over the years, I built a collection of more than 300 novels by authors such as Louis L'Amour, Wilbur Smith, Stephen King, and Robert Ludlum. I also completed a specialized English course toward a doctoral degree, which, although I did not finish the degree itself, greatly enhanced my language skills.
In 1987, I retired from military service with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. By that time, my English proficiency had improved significantly, and I had already begun writing gaming materials for the almanac Computer Games.
My first paid translation work came in 1991, when I translated an Olivetti manual for a metal treatment furnace. From 1992 to 1994, I worked as a freelance translator for Moscow's Scientific and Technical Documents Translation Bureau, translating technical manuals—including those for CNC milling machines and Netware 3.0. I also translated two novels: Almuric by Robert E. Howard (printed in Around the World magazine) and The Beast by Alfred Van Vogt (published in 1994 by Canon Publishing House).
In 1997, Biblion LTD launched the PC gaming magazine Game World Navigator. I joined as Senior Editor and became Editor-in-Chief in 1998, a position I have held ever since. My editorial work involves constant use of English, proofreading, and managing content, which has further refined my language skills.
Between 2017 and 2021, I had the honor of serving as a judge at the international Gamescom exhibition, the largest gaming event in Europe. During this period, I was the sole representative from Eastern Europe on the jury.
In 2020, I translated and published three science fiction novels by Simon Hawke. While searching for a local publisher for these translations, I discovered Aegitas.ru. Impressed by their quality and efficiency, I met with the publisher, and we agreed to collaborate on new editions of classic literature. I took full responsibility for preparing these books—sourcing original texts, proofreading, correcting typographical and scanning errors, and creating covers and illustrations using AI tools.
Inspired by this work, I decided to become an author myself, and Aegitas kindly published all of my books.

Dear reader!
Our goal was to create the most complete edition of classic erotica from the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras. We began with an extensive research effort that uncovered and brought original texts to light. At the same time, we developed the concept for the edition. One key decision was to include a relevant quote from a famous personality in the introduction to each book. However, since no such quotes existed, we had to invent them ourselves.
These quotes come from what we call the "information field of the Earth," accompanied by this disclaimer:
FYI! These and all other quotes were neither spoken aloud nor taken from written sources. They were accessed from the Earth’s information field by the editorial office’s staff mentalist.
We chose to compile 20 volumes—a beautiful number!—arranged in chronological order. Each volume contains over 600 pages of text in MS Word format. The next huge task was to make the original texts readable: correcting spelling errors and fixing all issues caused by automatic book scanning.
Because AI image generators capable of producing quality artwork were not yet available, we selected stylish photographs of beautiful women for the covers.
The volume #5 includes the following works (1883–1885):
* The Oyster Complete (by Anonymous)
* Randiana: or, Excitable Tales (by Anonymous)
* The Colonel's Nieces (by Anonymous – Madame La Comtesse De Cœur-Brûlant)
Here are a couple of “celebrity quotes”:
The Oyster Complete (by Anonymous)
Whoever crosses an oyster with a rabbit at the genetic level will definitely win my prize.
— Alfred Nobel
Randiana: or, Excitable Tales (by Anonymous)
Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity. Better just screw them virgins!
— George Carlin
We believe this edition offers excellent value for money.
At least, we have done everything possible to make it so.
If you agree, please leave your invaluable comment.
If not, your precious feedback will definitely help us improve.
Thank you!
