Beautiful Trauma: An All Over You Novel
Are you ready for the ultimate friends-to-lovers romance?
I didn’t think a single night at a concert could be life-changing, but here we are. My ex-roommate Mish is dating the lead singer of the band and I’m working as their assistant. When Mish moved out my best friend, Elijah, moved in and after years of being friends, we’ve completed the romance trope and become lovers. Cee and Elijah are finally together after years of friendship. After multiple incidents the band is left needing someone to help micromanage and assist the members. Cee decides to help out to make extra cash and hang with her friends. Sergio instantly hits it off again with her and soon they are spending every night reliving Cee and Elijah’s whole relationship in a romance storytelling way. However, tragedy hits Cees life and it seems Sergio is the only one willing to put everything on the line for her.
I know the book title leads you to assume that traumatic stuff will happen in this book, but I didn’t even pay attention to that. So when I say I was emotionally hit and devastated by the middle of the book. Omg it was so unexpected for me and made me unable to stop until I finished the whole book. My eyes burned by the end of this day but it was so worth it. I knew that Elijah couldn’t be end game based on the description at some point Sergio would come in. I wasn’t expecting how it would all go down. I absolutely loved Sergio’s devotion to Cee and her son and I was glad she had one person fully supporting her. I was annoyed however with her other friends for how little effort they really put into helping her through her troubles. It made Sergio just that much more necessary and amazing of a friend.

This book had me in tears, on more than one occasion. Book three in the All Over You Series follows Cee the younger sister. We really discovered how one daughter is the perfect, parent's shining star and the other is the forgotten, broken, messed-up daughter. This book was so heartbreaking to read going through Cee trauma right along with her. Jillian did such a fantastic job drawing me in and making me feel so many emotions for these characters. I broke right alongside them. This was so well written I will be suffering from emotional damage for the foreseeable future. I LOVED every second of it and cannot wait to read more from this author!

Wow, just wow!
Writing this review after finishing this book. I couldn't put it down.
There were many highs and lows for the characters including very sad heart felt moments. If you want a book which will pull your heart strings and also make you rejoice from the hilltops then this is a great book for you.
The characters and story line are easy to follow. There are quite a few triggers in this which includes drugs, suicide, death, depression and loneliness. However there is a very good balance of joyfulness with the sadness.
I thought that Sergio reminded me of someone. Only when I wrote the acknowledgement at the end did it properly twig and made me cry. Such a great tribute to any foo fighters fans missing Taylor Hawkins. Still devastated with the loss of this amazing musician. Lots of his traits are represented in Sergio.
Hope you all enjoy this as much as I did!

WOW!!! This book wrecked me to my core! A book that can make me feel like I’m going through the highs and lows with the characters is a 100 star read for me! I don’t think I’ve cried so much reading a book! I laughed, I cried, I was happy, I was sad… all the emotions! I loved every single character! Cee and Elijah…. I love them so much! They had such a toxic relationship but you know the love was strong and went through so much together! Sergio 😍🥵 good ol’ drummer boy! A dude who’s a sucker for romance, friends to lovers trope and smut and isn’t shy about it… yes please!!! You’re an amazing author Jillian! I can’t wait to read the other two in this series!

WOW!!! This Book is Packed In All Feels. I laughed and cried so many times. All The Emotions! I loved every single Character! The Story and Character Development were Phenomenal. Loved catching up on the other Characters' lives as well. I didn't think I would love this one as much as the last one But I Do.. Definitely Your Next 5⭐ Read.

This book brought all the emotions! I felt every single thing Cee was feeling throughout this entire book, I won't spoil anything but you are definitely gonna need some tissues. This was my first read by Jillian Macgregor and definitely won't be my last. Also check triggers warnings as the book does contain substance abuse as well as suicide attempt and death along with others
