Faking It is the third in Dorie Graham's Sexual Healing trilogy about three sisters who have inherited the family's gift of sexual healing--yes, healing through sexual contact. Erin McClellan's always felt like the family fraud. While her sisters have clearly had miraculous outcomes with their magic hoohahs, Erin's convinced she's got the opposite. Her few experiences have ended up with her lover violently ill, so she resolves to stop seeking relationships at all.
When Jack Langston arrives on her doorstep as a client, she's immediately attracted to him, but is determined to keep her distance. But that attraction hits them both like a ton of bricks, and before long, they're setting the sheets aflame.
Ms Graham's story is entertaining and fast paced. A very entertaining conclusion to the trilogy.
Sexual healing, huh? Well, this is a typical entry in the Blaze line, meaning that sex is a very important part of the book. I read it in one night and will be donating it to the library. It was OK, but didn't really hold my interest--maybe if I'd started with the first book in the series I would have enjoyed it more. This was on my TBR bookcase, so there's that.
