Grumpy Cozy Christmas by Meredith Summers is the third book in the Pinecone Falls series.
This can definitely be read as a stand-alone cozy Christmas romance.
I love the grumpy sunshine trope.
Such a fun Christmas story. I really enjoyed Ginger and Ethan. Ethan is so grumpy, and Ginger is so happy. I love how Ethan is trying to save his tree farm and Giner is his last hope to help his dying trees.
The characters are well written and so much fun. What a better place for a romance than Pinecone Falls!
This book is the third in the series but the first I have read. I enjoyed it immensely. It is well-written, clean, and just full of Christmas cheer. It did read like a Hallmark movie but once in a while I need that.
Ginger is an agricultural scientist whom has been summoned by her BFF Mason to the town of Pinecone Falls. She is asked to use her talents as a tree doctor for the Woodward Tree Farms to help save their balsam firs for the Christmas season.
It was a fast, engrossing read. I recommend this book if you are looking for a happily ever after pick-me -up.
It took me no time at all to get into it! It has a warm, cozy vibe, Christmassy and, well, like home. It felt like coming home. This is good, really really good. I felt a connection to both Ginger and Ethan. The charming setting helps too. Ginger feels a sense of belonging, and so did I! All the feels of both Ginger and Ethan were transferred to me in a wonderful, escape-worthy way. I really didn’t want to stop reading!
Agricultural scientist, Ginger Sanders comes to Pinecone Falls to help a friends girlfriends family who is having trouble with their Christmas Tree farm.
If she can't get a handle on the sickness attacking the Balsam trees, the family will be looking at some hard times next year.
Grumpy Cozy Christmas is the third book in the Pinecone Falls series. It's a women's fiction/Sweet Romance that has developed characters and a strong sense of family helping family.
The book was okay. The male character is billed as grumpy. He really isn't that grumpy. The story is supposed to be a romance. There was very little romance. The problem with the Christmas trees was handled in less than a week. This I do not find plausible. It should take a lot longer than that to cure dried, falling needles and a fungus. However, this is fiction. So I guess you can do whatever you want.
I am giving Grumpy Cozy Christmas a five star rating, because, as in all of Meredith Summer's books, it was about friends and family. I enjoyed reading Grumpy Cozy Christmas, as it was an entertaining book to read, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to read about new beginnings.
This was just the sweetest clean romance. Its funny and witty Christians story. This is a very uplifting story that tugs at your heart and put the magic of love in the characters hearts. I recommend this book
This was the third book in the Pinecone Falls series. This book is the equivalent to a mug of hot cocoa and your favorite comfy blanket! I loved it. The evolution of the characters over the three books was wonderful! I truly hope there is more to come in Pinecone Falls!
Such a sweet series! And all about Christmas! Love the main character of Ginger. She has a lot going on in her life now - doesn’t want another Christmas in the Bahamas, is having second thoughts about her job in the city being what she really wants, starting a perfect Christmas holiday in a small town in New England with snow and agreeing to help a tree farm solve the problem of unhealthy trees before it’s too late.
