History is written by the victors. Victory has been bought with a bracelet; Tohmas Galanth is to be married. With Arnika Trulin's hand comes the Princedom of Trulin, freeing Tohmas to continue his conquest of Espar. But even magical love is real, and Tohmas is blind to any betrayal from within his ranks. As he marches, his enemies from this word and beyond plan a unified strike meant to stop him and free the conquered princedoms. Arnika is not the only target. The closer he comes to success, the further Tohmas feels he is from what he wants for himself and for Espar. Chief Tamv of the Rydans is expecting homage and obedience. How can a son, even a pretend son, not honor his father? He was born Esparan but raised Rydan. Now Tohmas must choose which to serve.

At a young age, Deborah's rampant imagination kept her up, lending great detail to all the terrible things lurking in the night. In desperation, her mother suggested she invent her own stories to distract her brain. She has been doing that since, channelling her ideas into mainly sword and sorcery-style fantasy novels and shorts.

"Dragon's Voice" landed in the YA self-published world in November 2019. Book 1 of the Weapons of Espar series (Dragon's Talon) came out May 2020, with Book 2 (SoulBurner) due Feb 2021.

In March 2021, Deborah signed on with 4Horsemen Publishing, who have taken on the entire 6 book Son of No Man series. Books 1-3 are now available.

In her other life, Deborah is a veterinarian. She lives in Sooke with her husband of 14+ years, their two sons, and three demanding felines.

This series has hands down, been one of my favorite....ever. The characters are phenomenal, the plot never stops being good, and it's just amazing. I was blown away. And I'm going to have to stop this review here because there's just so much I want to say but if I do I'm afraid I'll spoil something...SO, go out and get this series!.

What a great Fantasy!

Full of all kinds of twists and subplots! The characters are all very complex and intriguing, the plot moves along without so much as a pause, and there is a lot of action. Again, I cannot recommend this highly enough. Have to admit, I do enjoy Carsh and how he always remains true to who he is, regardless of the circumstances.

There is more to dreams than just dreams. For wizards there is a parallel blackness that leads in and out of dreams. A powerful user can exist and use life, dreams and the blackness to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks.

This is a battle for Espar. But who is the "Traitor" you might ask. Many people are setup to be the traitor, and more than one is or could be.

It will take all of Tohmas's skill and luck to pull this off. Declaring yourself King is not trivial, and the work is intense.
