In the midst of a successful career as a hang gliding instructor and competition pilot (winning a World Champion title and multiple U.S. National Champion titles), Paris Williams suddenly found himself plunged into a profound struggle with experiences that would have likely resulted in the diagnosis of a psychotic disorder.

Fortunately, he managed to avoid becoming entangled within the psychiatric system, and he instead embarked upon a journey of healing and self discovery, attempting to resolve his own personal crisis while aspiring to support others going through similar crises. He has since spent over a decade deeply exploring both Eastern and Western under-standings of mind and consciousness, studying intensive meditation from a number of different meditation masters around the world, becoming licensed as a Clinical Psychologist, working in a number of different settings supporting people struggling with challenging and extreme experiences, and conducting a series of pioneering research studies at Saybrook University on recovery from schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. He has recently published a book based upon his work, titled Rethinking Madness, which has received wide acclaim.

He currently lives in New Zealand with his wife, Toni, continuing to work as a psychologist, and still occasionally taking to the sky.

Silver is a well crafted murder thriller with a bag full of plot twists you simply will not see coming.

We follow Clifford Silver, a private investigator who finds himself viciously entrapped by deceit, corruption and mayhem. He is hired by a woman who's trying to catch her cheating husband but instead Cliff gets framed for a murder he didn't commit.

Taking the help from his former partner, Rita, he will find the truth and clear his name. However it's easier said than done as the odds are stacked against them and each time it only gets higher and higher.

As the mystery deepens, the reality gets scattered in fragmented pieces. The missing puzzle pieces will reveal the truth that will be shocking to all. A complex murder with practically inaccessible clues, Clifford's life will soon get embroiled. Are you ready to delve into this extraordinary gripping story?

The author has channeled a perfect ensemble of intense anticipation and twisty moves to keep the readers on the edge of their seats. And a compelling murder thriller never fails to amaze me if it has the elements of surprises and shocks, packed with turbulent moments of unexpected actions are active. Suffice to say, "Silver" was definitely a unique reading experience with all the aforementioned elements. The characters are well-written and the plot is compelling.

This book is perfect for those who are looking for a mysterious murder thriller to guess and do their own sleuthing.
