Jude was way OTT in this book but it weirdly worked for him and made his character interesting. What I struggled with was everything else. It all seemed too fast paced for me, especially the insta love/insta family and it made the book feel rushed and storylines felt unfinished. Maybe because it was rushed, or maybe just the story itself, but I also never truly got interested in the overall story and after the first half of the book I was just bored and skimmed to finish.

Overall, I wouldn't be against reading more from these authors but I don't think it will be anything from this series.

I had high hopes!…..I had high hopes…..but alas, it hit different. h is escaping a abusive husband and she has a little 9 month old. I liked that Jude is ott (over the top) cray cray but….she fought him and his psycho love too much.

And when you get a guy trying to breeed a baby into the h with all his might, can we at least get a baby out of it? Maybe hes impotent 😂😂😂🤷

And I don’t even know who uriel is. Did the authors make a MM (male and male) book?!

Just finished!! . Like many other disciple fans, I have been waiting for this book for so long! Jude is truly crazy and I really loved his crazy ass lol.

I don’t feel like this is but maybe some will think so… but —-

There was a lot of talk of characters dying and everyone was freaking out. 😂 I will say none of the main characters/couples die so if you’re scared to read it bc you think someone’s gonna die- you’re good.

-H with demons (he cray cray lol)
-H sees h and BOOM.. he’s like she’s mine.. and when she says she has a kid.. BOOM that’s now his kid and his wife… and her husband… a non-issue
-Doesn’t want any other woman talking to him or serving him while he waits at h job for her to show up. He isn’t even nice about it either 🤣
-Jude is truly obsessed with his h and I am here for it.
-He is absolutely insane and that’s not a metaphor… he has voices in his mind that feed his bloodlust.
-seeing Jude daddy Abel is the cutest
-Eden fights it… a lot y’all..like to the very end almost. It ALMOST was to much for me but there was enough of H pushing her past it and her giving in that I hung on
-I wanna say this has Dub/CNC type as h fights it but when the H pushes it anyways and she still tries to stop it she really just wants it even if she can’t admit it.
-This has a primal vibe… idk how to describe it. They have a very aggressive smexy times and I loved it. Slammed her against the wall, fighting to get him off and being unable. It was 🥵
-Sweet little Abel is 9months and adorable with Jude.
-The moment of Jude and Abel’s 1st bonding or real moment together had me dyinnggg 😂😂 that is the best #RealParent moment I’ve ever read lol. Poop explosions down the legs ✔️ peeing on you while trying to change diaper ✔️ giggling and ripping a stinky fart and pooping more ✔️ 😂😂😂 and when Jude says Abel is clearly declaring war 😝😂😂🤣…. Y’all- I was CRYINGGGG 🤣🤣🤣🥲
-The vengeance Jude gets for his h with her “husband” … 👌🏼👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👌🏼😘 I mean GOLD start. I felt the rage, the adrenaline, the anger. Whew 😅 loved that 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏻
-loved seeing some of the other couples but I wished we had seen more like Sophia and lily. But we saw James, Jonathan, Simon, Beth l, Meredith and some others like Amanda and Nathaniel who will be getting future books.
-HEA
-as always with these authors the writing always sucks me right in.

Didn’t like:
-the fighting it… I wanted Eden to give in. like girl… he’s psycho but he was worshipping her like just let goooooo lol
-I honestly hadn’t read the other books in so long that i struggled to feel like the side characters were who I remembered or if I even remembered them (Gabriel I couldn’t remember for some reason at all). That’s not to say it’s not accurate but more than I should’ve probably reread old books to prep for this lol but it was a surprise for the release for me lol.

It's been ages since I read from this series, and I was hyped it was back!! I kinda wish it was Amanda's story, but maybe she'll be next. 🥲

Eden poor Eden..girl got it back her abusive husband just enjoys abusing her starving his child just a douche and she's tired of it only problem is she's been dependent on him and has no cash no nothing to her name. Until she remembers she has an uncle who owes her. This is when she cashes in, but her hopes are crushed when he has nothing but maybe a job to spy on a certain family to get rich.

Now she's working at a strip club bartending waiting and in walks in Jude and the guys getting some answers out of their peoples and she walks in on something she wasn't supposed to see. This leads Jude being Smitten with her mine like he already claimed her and the baby boy!! I swear the scene with Jude and Lil Abel was so cute!! I love it when these crazy Unhinged men get so soft for their women's kids even if it's not there's. Their relationship is push/pull from Eden since she has that tiny secret in getting info.

And when it comes out, there is a tiny eye for an eye, but they work it out. We do finally see Amanda and maybe her man? :0

3.5 stars! this book was good because of how obsessive the H was. he did not care that the heroine was a broke mother, trying to hide from her abusive ex husband. he saw and was basically screaming MINE MINE MINE! and i loved that.

very crazy, psychotic, obsessive Hero but exactly my cup of tea. gosh i really really enjoyed the moments where the Hero was taking care of the heroines son. it was absolutely adorable seeing as the H already thinks that the baby is his. great sex, the kinks were right up my alley😉😉

So yeah, if you liked the previous installments in this series, you will like this one too. Possibly deranged, OTT possessive caveman H who claims his h (and her kid) pretty much instantly. The h is, as per usual, bewildered and resistant. Ultimately a lovely HEA after shenanigans ensue.

This might have been my favorite of the series, after Lily. I don't know that is was the story so much as the overall experience of being back in this world. As much as we got to see everyone make an appearance, I still wanted more of them all, especially Lucifer's family. I was saddened by one particular death, but am hoping that that person's "love interest" will find love in the next book, because I was really intrigued by this new character.

well i have to say the books in this series probably have the same plot. i read the first 2 books then jumped to book 7. perhaps i should read book 3-6 too, to check if what i deduced is correct.

anyway the book always starts with when the H sees h then taken captive by her beauty and he kidnaps her, making her his (against her will). aside from the plot, the women have children too or most of them. some aspects of each story were tweaked a little but the similarities were definitely there.

eden asked her uncle for some help so that she and her son could get away from her abusive husband. then her uncle gave her a job to spy jude and his group, said it was personal. she was hesitant but accepted it.

then 3 weeks have already passed of her working in this club as a waitress, but she never saw jude even once. the club was owned by lucifer (jude's boss). then one night jude came to the club to "talk" to the manager. she followed them to the office and saw him torturing the manager and jude saw her too. she ran away but he chased her then decides she's it for him.

i wouldn't say eden was a doormat, cuz she's not. though there's the body betraying crap, she fought him all the way i think up to 70% of the book, more accurately it's always ended up being a hate-fuck between them. i think both of them get off antagonizing each other. jude bulldoze his ways into her life and forcing eden and her son to live with him even though she refused time and time.

tbf, all the men in this series took their women through coercion. those women doesn't want to do anything with them. but being the stupid domineering alpha that they are, no shit was given and it's always has to be their way. thus it always ended up with them abducting their women.

going back to the story, it was a cycle of jude telling her she's his and him calling her wife (though they're not married yet in his mind she is) and eden telling him to let her go. since he already made up his mind about eden and abel (her son) and that they're his family, all the pleading and snapping of eden went ignored.

i think this story happened in a span of week only and then they were dropping the love bombs. i mean this is fiction, so i'll accept the absurdity of the events here. when eden's done fighting her feelings for jude she became this protective heroine who'll do anything to protect him in return.

there were so much characters involved in this book. the family was protective of each other, brothers, wives, and children included. i think that's why reading this series in order is advisable so readers can follow through who are the characters introduced here.

overall, this was good imo. there's action and suspense though the plot was re-used, i still had fun reading this. and jude was a protective partner and dad, so that's plus points. i really liked it when the mmcs were ruthless with other people but soft and loving when it comes to his family.

Will I still read the whole series ? Hell yeah!
If the other books are just like this one , sign me in ! I laughed until my eyes watered. I loved the action scenes so much . The unhinged killer Jude is !!! I loved it !

I liked this book a lot! Jude honestly made me laugh because he was insane. But the way he instantly loved Abel and wanted to be his dad was adorable. Eden was hilarious too, she wasn’t afraid to fight him and say what she thought. The story was a wild ride. I will definitely be reading other books in this series.

Jude is so crazy! Serial killer, psychopath, delusional but I enjoyed his personality. lol 😂

He instantly fell in love with Eden and her 9 month old baby. He immediately started calling Abel (Eden’s son) his son, claimed him as his own and started saying Eden was his wife. Some of his scenes had me cracking me up and reminded me of Joe from You.

Amazing , fabulous, fantastic !

I don't know what it says about me ,? but reading this book I couldn't put it down with all of the blood, gore , guns knives and action I was so hooked into this story I don't think I even breathed during one part.

Jude ! Wow the man had some issues but he had a heart for his family his brothers in arms and for Eden and Able .

Eden , my heart went out to her she had been pulled from piller to post , lied to manipulated used and abused but she did what she had to for her son Abel . Jumping in to a situation she was blind to and the remifacation of that decision will haunt her for a life time .
I would have loved to have read a second epilogue though to see how things ended up between Jude and Eden .
Hopefully we won't have to wait to long for the next book in this awesome series 10/10 from me .

Well he was psycho. I didn’t buy into him and Eden at all and there wasn’t enough from her POV for me to be attached to her. There were lots of cameos from other characters but they are interchangeable in hindsight, for me.

I have really mixed feelings about this book. On one hand I love it. On the other, the male main character was just like almost TOO crazy for me. Which is honestly saying a lot because I have read my fair share of dark romances, and mafia romances. It's just something about the way he claimed both the FMC and her son from the beginning. I don't know what it was about it EXACTLY that just gave me like a little bit of like... creepy vibes? It might have been because of how Eden didn't accept him very easily. She continued to fight her attraction to Jude throughout most of the book.

I think the amount of action to romance was well balanced. The book kept me at the edge of my seat with the conflict. I do wish I had read some of the other books in this series before this one just so I could have more background on the other characters that have a pretty heavy presence in the book. But it did make enough sense that you can get through without reading the others.

Eden has finally had enough of her abusive husband. She needs to leave. With no money and no where else to go she approaches her uncle for a job so that she can her life on track and take care of her baby boy, Abel. She hates her uncle and blames him for her fathers death caused by their mafia ties. But you do what you must when you are responsible for a child that has no choice in the matter.

Unfortunately, the only job her uncle can offer her is to spy on a local crime family that he claims is to blame for Eden's father's death. She gets a job in a strip club that the family is known to own and waits weeks for a few of the men to show up. Too bad for her, the man that takes interest is Jude, the one she wanted to avoid at all cost because of the crazy she can see in him.

Jude becomes obsessed with Eden as soon as they meet. She happens to see him and his brothers taking the hand of her boss, and although the first thing Jude should do is kill the witness, instead he... kisses her? Finding out she has a child is a non-issue. Abel is no just as much Jude's as Eden is.

Jude and Eden's enemies end up working together leading to Jude's brothers finding out Eden is a spy. Eden knows this can mean her end, and more importantly, Jude knows it. Verbally claiming her isn't enough, so Jude does what he has to and has sex with Eden without a condom claiming that they won't hurt her if she is pregnant with his child. This seems to satisfy his family and gives them time to ask her why exactly she was spying in the first place.

When they prove to her they had nothing to do with her father's death she is quick to give her loyalty to the only man that has truly protected her, Jude. But their enemies are still out there and determined to get their revenge and tie up lose ends. Eden will have to fully accept Jude's crazy to survive, and more importantly protect her son Abel.

I'm a huge fan of this series and this book is exactly why (which also makes me question my morals lol). It has everything I love about the Disciples series: a dominant, possessive and obsessive male lead who's definitely on the bad boy side of the food chain and whose life starts and ends with the heroine, a female lead who's down on her luck and captured (for want of a better word) by the anti-hero with plenty of action in between. It gave me definite Lucifer vibes and as a fan of this series, being able to catch up with a lot of the crew in this book was the icing on the cake. Quick trigger warnings if people need them: there's domestic violence as well as acts of violence. I found them deliciously over the top enough that some of the more graphic elements added to the drama and shaped some excellent scenes from the authors, but the warning's there just in case.

Jude, one of the family nomads who travels around taking care of business when and where Lucifer needs it done, has been called home. Definitely a little psychotic, he lives for violence and starts going stir-crazy at a somewhat more settled life when he craves blood and mayhem. A chance encounter with Eden means he's a goner for her. Stating she's now his wife and that her son is actually their son, he moves himself into her orbit, feeling calm for the first time in his life. Only problem? Desperate for money, Eden is working undercover for her uncle and spying on Jude and his family, a sin that's unforgiveable. There's plenty of intense steam between Eden and Jude and I thought the way the authors made the former hesitate without falling into clichés was really well done - Eden was well aware that Jude wasn't completely sane and while she recognised the danger, she was drawn to him, too, without too much angst and hysterics. I really liked Eden's character, but Jude was definitely the standout for me. Unapologetically different, he embraced his violent quirks of character and immediately fell hard and fast for Eden. I found the voices in his head came up a little too frequently, but that was just personal preference, and he was a terrific addition to the married men in the family.

Aside from the darker romance side of things, there was heaps of other stuff going on in the Disciples world. Threats and violence from rivals, betrayal and danger to the family hit hard in this book and I look forward to some of the story arc being carried over into the next book (there's no cliffhanger, but like other books in this series, some elements carry over). This book is right up there with Keeping Lily for me, which is a huge call because not only is Book 1 my absolute favourite in this series, it's also one of my all-time favourite reads. I ate up every page of Possessing Eden and couldn't put it down once I started it so now I have to be that annoying reader who bounces up and down waiting for the next book.

Eden leavers her physically abusive husband with nothing but the clothes on her back and her infant son. Desperate, she goes to an uncle she hasn’t seen for years and agrees to spy on a notorious crime family for money so that she can finally be free. Unfortunately for her, she draws the attention of Jude while he’s conducting an “information extraction” visit and now she can’t shake him for anything, lol. He’s scooped her up, controlling her life, and claiming her and her son as his. The second Jude lays eyes on Eden, he just knows she’s his. She makes him feel in ways he’s never expected and for someone who’s never felt affection for anything, she is not something he can just let go. But there’s threats that need to be dealt with and betrayers about, so Jude and the rest of the boys need to be extra careful if they want to keep their women safe.

Aaackk!! I was super excited for Jude’s story and Sean and Izzy did NOT disappoint! Great storyline with tons of heart pounding action and a bit of gore (just the way I like it, lol). Both Eden and Jude were fabulous! Both individually and together. Jude is completely psycho, lol. Like bathe in blood, nuts. Despite all Jude’s crazy, Eden knows her and her son are safe with him. There’s just something about a man that just accepts another man’s child as his own that stirs up the ovaries - even with all his red flags, lol. Eden is definitely a survivor and it was awesome to see her become stronger and more fierce as the story progressed after being beaten down for so long. Their chemistry was undeniable from the first meeting and they both had something to offer the other: he helps make her stronger and she (kinda) makes him more human :). Possessing Eden is a definite recommend and wonderful addition to the Disciples series and made me super excited for the next book with those little breadcrumbs that were left behind.

I have to admit, this book was a little confusing to me. It's not bad, but it's only getting three stars because I feel like we never got to the point of Eden actually giving up and settling down.
In the very last pages of the book, she's still very much resistant to Jude, so I feel like their relationship never appropriately settled. :/

There were brilliant parts - the authors are very good at the action scenes and the intimate scenes are always fun. I enjoyed Jude and I did like Eden, I just felt like we kept climbing up the mountain, but we never actually peaked it.

I was left feeling like it was too much surface work and not enough deep diggs.

I truly love this series and I do struggle with my three stars, but I have to be honest and there was just too much pulling this one down.

I can't wait for the next book though, and I hope we get more additions to the ranks! It's clearly needed hehe.

I must also humbly request that the authors stop killing people off for a while because it's starting to feel like I'm reading GOT now! :P HAHA. Have mercy!! ;)

These days I am doing things (watching dramas, reading, and colouring) in a strange manner. If anything cannot hold my interest at a certain moment, I will drop it and do something else--until that something "loses" to another. Well, I actually skipped an LMR book (meaning stopped reading at the quarter-mark) and started this one as soon as I learned of its existence. The fact that I kept on until I finished it is telling me something, right?

First, (now I know) it's been over two years since I read the last "disciples" story. And I wasn't aware I missed this series quite seriously. So it was like having a major reunion with the protagonists in the previous books, even though I have mostly forgotten their stories.

The gore is still OTT, the power play and story arc are never overshadowed by the intense sexual display. However, I can't seem to pinpoint the exact moment Eden falls for Jude--or she is just confused and "loves" his devotion. The two cannot be more "opposite". She married young, lived a secluded life, had no career, and entirely depended on her jerk of a husband. (She didn't know how to drive!) On the other hand, we have this killing machine (doing all the unspeakable, dirty jobs for Lucifer) as her match; he even has incessant voices in his head urging him on. In other words, Jude is a certifiable psychopathic killer--before Eden, that is. His unwavering emotion/feeling toward Eden is truly remarkable.

The writing was, as always, engaging (thus kept me going).

Possessing Eden is book seven of the Disciple Series. It's a dark, insta-lust, touch her and die, mafia-ish, romance. This story focuses on Jude and Eden.

Eden is a struggling single mother. She's been through a lot in her short life. She's been a victim of circumstance and abuse. She's scared, worried, and basically at her breaking point and just wants to give her baby boy a better life. Jude is violent, immoral, and crazy obsessive. He seems to lack most emotions, until he meets Eden who brings out foreign feelings.

Be warned, there are many triggers in the story. It's dark, violent, twisted, but there are some laugh out loud moments. This story was entertaining and had some classic Disciples drama and banter, but this book fell short for me. Jude was hyped up to be this huge psycho but I didn't get as much psycho vibe as I have with other characters. I also felt that we never actually get a conclusion to Jude and Edens story, there was never a moment where they just were.

Additionally, there was never any conversation about what happened to the uncle or Thad. The epilogue didn't even include Eden and wasn't even about Eden or Jude. Basically the last quarter of the book felt rushed to me and incomplete. With all that said this one was just OK. And for any Disciple fans, it seems there are more books in the series to come.

Izzy Sweet and Sean Moriarty's 7th book in the Disciples series Possessing Eden is one hot and steamy read. I have been waiting a while for Jude's story and it did not disappoint at all. It's definitely better than I thought it could ever be, considering the monster Jude is.
Jude is the monster in Lucifer's group of henchmen with no heart or emotions, making him the perfect killer. But for once in his life he doesn't put his family first. Eden is a single mom stuck in a bad spot trying to escape her abusive husband and ends up used as a pawn to get into Lucifer's group and she does it through Jude after she sees something she wasn't supposed to. His family sees Eden for the threat she is but Jude does not care. His heart is finally working and his attachment to her was sealed when he met her son Abel. He will go to whatever lengths he has to, even lying to protect her from his family hoping he won't have to choose between them with a war on the rise.
I gave this one a 5-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Seeing Jude with a heart just did it for me. His sexiness shot up a few notches from that. Eden and Jude were just made for each other and although complicated for sure they are perfect together. Like Eden says "Jude is a monster, there's no denying that…. But he's my monster. And I won't let anyone take him from me."

I had a tough time finishing this book. I didn't feel any love between them. Lust, sure. But not love.

She witnesses the hero chopping her boss' hand off. He chases her and is supposed to deal with her as they don't want witnesses. Instead, she promises she'll tell no one and come to work the next day. He agrees and lets her go.

When she shows up to work the next day he is waiting for her. She immediately gets a phone call from her babysitter that her son is sick. He offers her a ride and she agrees since it's faster than taking the bus home. He calls his doctor and her son has an ear infection.

He refuses to leave her home. He helps her give her son medicine. He keeps referring to him as "our son" so she is understandably freaked out.

He makes her go to his home which he redecorated just for them. He kills her abusive husband after he tracks her down. He kills him in front of the heroine.

At this point, I was struggling to finish the book. I felt no emotional connection between them. He says her presence silences the voices he always hears in his head.

First off, let me say how much I adore the writings of Izzy Sweet and Sean Moriarty. I’ll buy any book written by these two, even without reading the blurb. That’s how much faith I have in them to thoroughly entertain me while I escape into their books.

This is the 7th addition to their stand alone series collectively entitled The Disciples. This is the story of Jude and Eden, and oh my what a phenomenal read it was. Jude meets Eden spying on him and others, and she’s terrified thinking he’s going to kill her because of that. But, no, Jude has other plans for this lovely single mother. He would never harm her or her baby boy.

The characters in this book are so fully fleshed out and believable. It’s so awesome to read characters from previous books appearing in this one. It’s like saying hello to old friends.

The men who are The Disciples are part of organized crime, and they do some fairly over the top illegal happenings, but we can’t help but love them. They are all hardened men, but they are also very protective of their families and loyal to each other.

If you like mafia romance, you can’t do better than this series. Highly, highly recommended.

If you like a book with a lot of 🌶 but not a huge plot... this may be for you. To be fair, this is the 7th book in a series that I've never read any of. I'm assuming that this book sorta picks up and builds from the previous books.
The MMC, Jude, is a pretty dark guy. A killer with a pretty creepy lust for it. He decides he wants the FMC, Eden, for his wife. He doesn't ask her, and he definitely doesn't care that she's already married.
Eden, on the other hand, has finally escaped from her abusive husband with her infant son in tow. She begs her uncle (not a cool dude) for a job, and he reluctantly gets her one, but it's got some really crazy risks.. like dealing with some pretty insane people. Eden is attracted to Jude but also knows he's a killer and doesn't want to deal with him in her life.
Too bad for her because Jude is calling her his wife and her son, their son. (Which, I'm not gonna lie, got to me🥺) He will die to protect her from everything and anyone...even his, own family.
I don't feel like the characters had a lot of depth. It was an easy read but felt lacking.
