English title: The Entertainment Circle is Mine
Despite the depressing summary, this was actually a super sweet and fluffy book about two reincarnated individuals. The FL is Xu Zhaixing, who was a huge fan of the idol Cen Feng in her previous life. However, even though he was incredibly talented, he eventually committed suicide, and his fans only find out afterwards that he had an abusive upbringing and suffered bullying from his agency and fellow bandmates, all of which added up to his depression and eventual death. The FL herself didn't have it easy, with her father ending up in debt due to bad investment advice from his brother and her mother passing away from a cancer that could've been prevented.
This time around, Xu Zhaixing is determined to change things around for her family and also for Cen Feng. Unfortunately she was reborn back to her high school years, so her influence is a bit limited. Once she convinces her dad to change his investments and invest in her cousin's entertainment company and makes sure that her mom goes to the hospital for a checkup, her next focus is to get Cen Feng's career back on track. At this point, he's still a trainee who hasn't debuted, so she secretly flies to Beijing to meet him. Surprisingly, his personality has drastically changed and he's pretty cold and withdrawn. What the FL doesn't realize is that Cen Feng has also been reborn, and he's completely given up on his dreams of being on the stage and isn't planning to pursue his singing career anymore.

The rest of the story follows Xu Zhaixing as she gradually gains recognition for her fashion designing skills and power and influence via her ownership stake in her cousin's entertainment company Chenxing. Once she achieves a high enough status, she uses all of her resources to whole heartedly support the ML, who's stuck with a 10 year contract at a company that doesn't value him. Just like how Cen Feng was the light that saved Xu Zhaixing in her previous life when she was at her lowest and was contemplating suicide, Xu Zhaixing becomes the light that saves Cen Feng in this life. It's a super cute and heartwarming story with lots of fluff.
Some of my favorite parts of the story:
The way the FL meticulously takes care of everything that negatively impacted the Cen Feng's career in his previous life. He was bullied by his teammates, so the FL made sure one of the most obnoxious teammates never debuted. He was rumored to have been blacklisted by his agency for refusing to participate in the unspoken rules with their head agent, so the FL investigates and releases details of his sordid actions and gets the guy arrested. She's so protective of the ML!

How the ML keeps catching the FL in embarrassing situations, like when she has a nosebleed from the dry weather in Beijing or again when she has motor oil all over her from trying to fix her bicycle.

How the FL named her cousin's entertainment company after her name and the ML's. Chenxing is a combination of her name (Xu Zhaixing) and his (Cen Feng). And later on their CP fans actually manage to guess this, much to her embarrassment!

When the FL asks for a video of him dancing as a graduation present and he actually posted one on his Weibo. He makes sure she's saved it before he deletes it, much to the chagrin of his other fans XP

The whole trainee variety show sponsored by the FL's company that the ML participates in was so much fun to read! And as someone who's watched similar Chinese shows, I was able to really immerse myself in this arc. It's here that the ML slowly changes his mentality and regains his love for the stage again, all thanks to the FL.

I thought it was hilarious that the ML has his own CP with Zhou Mingyu from the idol training reality show, and he doesn't even realize that ZMY is his love rival for the FL's attention. And the FL's reaction was hilarious too XP
Both fans lick the same picture, they were all busy licking that they don’t even know how the ‘FengYu CP’ was born.
But looking at it, this FengYu CP was on the same level, same dorm room, the same effort to admit defeat! And their strength was also poor, but they encourage each other and trained hard. They have seen the moon at 4 a.m. together!
Xu Zhaixing, who hasn’t been on Weibo for one day: ?????
Is this his ploy???? He’ll get the boy I love if he can’t get me?

And later she realizes she's slowly slipping from a mother fan to a girlfriend fan due to the ML's good looks, amazing talent, and how gently he treats her. She feels embarrassed on so many occasions and I loved it!
The shirt was pure white, soft in texture, and nearly transparent in the light. She buried her head and tried not to let her eyes wander, but the well-defined abs still crashed into her eyes, rising and falling slightly with his breathing.
What a sin!!!
Why should a pure mother powder suffer this crime!!!
