Not as advertised!
Based on the description given I anticipated a story of paranormal investigations. This is not that at all. Don't waste your time if that's what you're interested in. So many side stories that don't really have anything to do with the described plot or even come together in the end. Completely unrealistic, eye rolling character interactions. It was so repetitive that I skimmed multiple chapters just to not to have to add it to my DNF list. The ending was predictable and disappointing. Definitely do not recommend.

Dysfunctional/Toxic/Dark/Twisted/CrayCray
What the F did I just read... what a way to mess my head up.. wow I'm still processing.. Loading... wtf...
This is like 6 hours after finishing reading it and I don't know how to feel or what to say I'm confused, hurt, broken my head hurts and I'm not processing what I just read.
The story is very very intriguing and haunting. The characters have a lot to unpack a lot of secrets and betrayals some of them got me so mad I wanted to slap them. Some parts were infuriating. But overall was intriguing and entertaining. It felt like I was watching a movie to the point that it was scary. I was so into the story that I felt like I was feeling everything I was in a trance that I was so scare of every sound heard in my house which was creepy.
The ending was too deep and blew my mind I was expecting something crazy to happen but not that. This was a mind F.. I'm still processing..
Lets just add that the wing thing IYKYK got me over thinking and startled. Without words..

Wow.... This was intense.... This isn't what you usually read from Rayne Matthews. It's crazy, unique, and what a mind warper it is. You think you know what's going on, but let me tell you. YOU know Nothing.
I was kept guessing the whole time, and that ending.... WHAT??? Be warned, this one will keep you sitting and thinking for awhile after you are done. I promise you that....
Alex and the Team..... Thank you for sharing your story with us... It was a pleasure to learn about you and your show and your non nuclear family.
Must read, but make sure you keep the lights on!

This book had a good start to it. I was loving the relationship dynamics of the team and the setup. But somewhere along the way, Alex lost all of her personality and it became a gross tangle of messy drama. It felt to me as though the author lost her umph halfway through and just pushed what she could to tie it all up. Didn't care for the ending, it was too chaotic and didn't make a lot of sense, to me.
In short, this book was a mess. I loved the idea far more than the execution.

Rayne does it again jacked up my mind again. But once again I love it. This book will have you going What the What the…. Lol it is a book that you want to see on tv. One that will have you raising your eyebrows, wrinkling your forehead and going wait, did I just read that right. Twisted mind blowing and yet incredibly interesting.

In true Rayne fashion, this book gripped me from the beginning and wouldn’t let go until the very end.
So many mysteries to figure out in this book. I was a little sad at the ending but it all came together in the end.
I love Mikey Jr, and his antics. Alex was an amazing medium and her team certainly stayed by her side all the way to the end.

I wasn't sure what to expect but as I read this book it quickly had and kept my attention and interest. It was a page turner and gripping in how it was told and Well worth while if you like dark stories.

Rayne has so much talent. She has moved flawlessly into thrillers. This book will have you on a full Rollercoaster ride all the way to the end!!!!!!!! I love the way she pulls you into this world.

oh wow!
What a trip this book was! Just amazing the storyline the characters. This book is beyond twisted and it had me at the edge of my seat . There was a lot of banter between the characters . Alex the medium with her team of investigators and a demon hybrid. What more can one want especially getting it on with a demon that has no peen. A crazy satanic cult . This book had it all.
