In this one the guys are already in an established relationship. They are very surprised to find something is different about Derek’s anatomy.

"Seriously," he says, still staring. "You couldn't warn a guy?"
"I told you," Derek grits out, hands on his hips. He's still staring down at his crotch. "I didn't know."
"How could you not know?" Stiles bugs his eyes at Derek. "I know you've had sex before. You've had sex with me before!"
"This never happened any of those times."

"We can research it," Stiles says happily. "I wonder what else freaky shit there is we don't know about yet? Do you think anything else is going to happen to your dick? Maybe it's evolving into something else! Like a Pokémon!"

This was so so good. I love when stories are told from Stiles POV. There is just something about being in his head that I like. And this was so well written and so definitely Stiles. It's also PWP, so that is something to consider before reading it. But I loved it!

LOL, Surprise!Knotting is evidently more of a "thing" in this fandom than I realized. Unlike the last one I read, this time (when it bulges) they stop to discuss before Stiles talks Derek into giving it to him. You know that whole scenario can turn out to be nothing but hilarious. And hot.

I love it when I stumble across a Sterek which knows how to portray Stiles with just the right amount of wit, sarcasm, verve and sexy talk.

This was quite an innovative take on the knotting theme. Rather than find themselves knotted, Stiles and Derek manage to disengage right before. And it seems like a Stiles' thing to do for them to talk it out. The fiction starts right as they discover Derek's 'ability'. Stiles is all about questions while Derek is silently scared of what it is and what can happen. And here is where Stiles' chattering really shines. He takes the knot in stride and knows Derek well enough to calm him down and continue with their previous activity. It did seem a bit out of character for him to proceed without extensive research but considering it was sex related, I can understand the lapse in judgement.

Funny dialogue. Sexy and arousing sex. Stiles and Derek. Need I say more?
