Jaz would do anything for the men that she loves, and that includes a lot of things like braving the fiery pits of Hell, and possibly giving up coffee to do so.
Traversing through the Underworld is already hard enough, but when Jaz feels like nothing is ever going to go right, one of Lucifer's guards awakens desires inside of her that she's never felt before.
Felix.
He's surly, unreasonable, and rejects her as soon as he can. Yet there's more lurking underneath the mask this shifter wears, and Jaz is determined to have him as her own.
As if that weren't enough though, Alec is somewhere in the Underworld, alone and without protection from the shadows that are closing in at an alarming rate, determined to find Gilbert's body and bring him home.
Will the Underworld hold the answers that they all seek, or will they fall prey to the demons that lurk in this Hell?

Overall, this series was entertaining. At times I found it to be over the top. For instance, each book has minimum of one if not two or three problems. In one book, The girls switch bodies (think Freaky Friday) only to find out it’s now Jas‘s wedding day! In my opinion there’s too much s3x (and that’s saying a lot because i love smut!) but the characters do it at the most inappropriate times and also each chapter there’s a new scene. Sometimes less is more. I also found the characters to be juvenile. I am new to this author so i am unsure if it’s her writing style or if she just wrote these characters like this. I cringed every times I read “for reals” and such. Eeek.
I DO like the bit of mystery that was set up throughtout the series and also how Jas kept adding to her harem throughout to series. I wanted to cry reading what really happened to Gilbert.
Jaz is back and going to the underworld to save her mates. Really enjoying the character development in this series - they've all made pretty good, organic growth and I love their relationships. Finally knowing Gilbert's story was awesome too.
*NOTE: this review is of the series NOT just this book. Minor spoilers ahead*
This series follows necromancer Jaz Neck following the discovery of her previously thought to be non-existent magic.
Overall, I have enjoyed this series. The premise, while slightly cliche (girl discovers she is Super Special after thinking she was Normal) was still enjoyable and made for a fun reading experience. There is plenty of humour within this series, but there is also plenty of substance and some proper gut-wrenching moments as is expected with a longer series. There are plenty of twists and turns, introductions to new characters and shifts in relationship dynamics.
My favourite thing about this series, perhaps apart from some of the humour, is how the characters interact with each other. I felt like every relationship within this series, whether it be between Jaz and her mates, siblings, friends or otherwise had depth and a story. Sometimes side characters can feel like tools to drive the plot, but I didn't feel that way with this series. Each of the side characters were likeable (or at least understandable) and were complex beings with their own thoughts, feelings and qualities. I loved reading the different interactions between any of the characters, and I felt like it really enriched the series at points were the plot might have been slower, making the series overall much more interesting to read.
I also loved that the love interests were introduced at different points in the series and developed relationships with Jaz at different paces. This is very much my preference when it comes to longer series, as I feel things can get a little boring if the mates are all "dumped" in book one and most of the tension is resolved halfway through the series. That being said, I do feel like some of Jaz's mates got a little more "screen time" than others. I am yet to read the last book though, so we shall see.
All in all, I found this to be a fun read without too angst. That being said, definitely check the trigger warnings because there are some more intense themes that come about in later books.
It’s all going to hell! Well Jaz now has two of her mates missing in hell in a rescue mission to save the other 🙈 but Jaz is not having any of it…….so despite her remaining mates reluctance with her in her condition they travel to hell in search of Alec and Gil. And in typical Jaz fashion it is not plain sailing 🤣especially with the Cerberus….I just kept thinking I can’t wait to see Alec’s reaction to this!! There is a real emotional connection developer between the harem in this one and they really come together to over come hell 😁 plus there are the hot as 🔥 knotting …. Saucy saucy scenes 😍 We also discover the truth about Valentine and his connection to the storyline….and I will admit I never saw that twist coming!! 🙈
This series is such a delight to read! In every book the author manages to surprise me, with twists and turns I didn't see coming, or with new characters that are simply amazing. This book focusses on an entirely new world, and once again the world building is perfect; I loved this author's view on the underworld. Most of all I enjoy the humor in this series; Jaz has become such an amazing character throughout this series and I think it's wonderful to see the world through her eyes.
Once again a perfect addition to the Neck-romancer series; I'm kinda hoping I will never have to say goodbye to these characters.
I have to say I was reaching a point with this series that frustration was mounting. I felt like each book gives you just a small piece of the puzzle as the puzzle continues to get bigger. This book relieved some of that frustration while bringing new frustrations at the same time. However, I will say I enjoyed this one much more than the last two (and I still enjoyed them) so I can honestly say this is a series to stick with. From the ending of this one it seems as if the series will be wrapping up soon. I can't wait for the next book! Keep 'em coming. I need to solve this puzzle!
Jaz's life is totally out of her hands! After being through so much with her guys and in her own life, it seems they are still being pulled apart. This book was so good, hot, fast paced, action crazy and as usual, hilarious. Although this is definitely not quite the end of the story, it felt like lots of emotional stuff got resolved. This family is not quite complete also, so that adds to it all as well. If you love a sassy heroine who really doesn't know what she is doing but knows what she wants, this is definitely the series for you!
Book 6 picks up directly after book 5 ended. Talk about a cliffhanger in 5. 😐 So the gang is on the look out for Alec who is in Hell looking for something of his own for the group! We also finally FINALLY go the deets on Gil!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Firstly, I wasn’t sure how I felt about another mate but Miss Dunlap placed him perfectly! And it wasn’t all roses. I also love how Jaz”s pregnancy didn’t overtake the whole book. We know it’s a thing but it’s not a major thing right now.
It was a perfect ending without being a major cliffy!

I absolutely love this series! In this book Jaz, Sebastian and Pierce travel to the Underworld to find Alex and follow up on a lead on where Gilbert’s body is. This filled with danger, adventure, revelations and humour. Jaz is such a great character. She is a necromancer with a bit of a coffee addiction and she brings humour to the story with her funny quips and sassy attitude. This was another amazing book in this series and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
In Neck-ropolis we get to see Jaz venture into the underworld to rescue her loved ones. The world building is intricate and unique to this story, I wish we could have a whole new book dedicated to adventures in the demon realm! I didn’t read the blurb prior to reading so meeting Felix was an incredible surprise and let me just say that man is a wonderful addition!! I won’t say more just to avoid spoilers but this book/series is a must read, you won’t regret it!
Lizzies' back at it again with a killer cliff hanger, at least it's not ACTUALLY killer this time. *dagger eyes* This is one of my all time favorite series. Always with the stress, it's not good for my complexion. Lizzie does such a good job of putting the perfect amount of pain, love, and absolute PLOT TWISTS, in her books. It's impossible to not finish a series, I'm already counting down for the next book.
I can never get enough of Jaz and her guys and it’s really amazing to think of how this series started and how far she’s come. Her life is so completely different now and the changes Jaz is making are not quite done yet. There are a lot of revelations at the end of the book that we’ve been waiting for. We’re brought to a new perilous environment and introduced to some new characters and it’s pretty epic. I can’t wait for the conclusion of this series!
Another great addition to jaz's story. I love that it mixes mythologies and has lucifer and hades running the underworld. These stories just suck me in and suddenly I've lost a couple hours. This book definitely left me wanting a cerberus mate! And magic to make my clothes fit perfectly. I'm also super glad this is not the last book, although it does answer some questions from previous books finally! I received a review copy from the author for an honest review
Yay I was so happy to read another book with Jaz. I absolutely love this world that this author has created. Love Jaz and her men. This one is sooo good. Storyline again is fantastic. Series will get ya hooked on it in book 1. This is book 6 so read in order. So can’t wait to see how this series is going to end in the next book. Kind of hoping it will continue on again. Seriously love these characters. Definitely recommend.
Jaz has followed Alex to the demon realm to find Gils body. Pierce and Deb has gone with her. Jaz did not plan on picking up a new mate on her journey.
This is another great read by Elizabeth Dunlap!
I received an Advance Reader Copy for an honest review.
Not gonna lie, everything was total mess lol. Mates missing, rescue mission… and well you can expect the unexpected as always. It was an incredible kind of twisted book. And twisted in the sense of blew my mind.
Well this book took a slightly different turn that I loved, Felix is just adorable and you can't help but fall for him. I love this story and I can't wait for the next, another great book in the series.
I love who snarky this crew is. Also, they are a thirsty bunch, even when they are in Hell. It was enjoyable for the most part, maybe not so much in the mortal peril sections and to finally get Gilbert’s backstory was satisfying!
Jaz and the guys take off to the underworld to find Alec and Gilbert. It's a riot of a time especially when they met the Cerebus shifter Felix. Love this series.
Jasmine is back again! Only this time she’s on her way to literal hell. Alec took off in the middle of the night to go find Gilbert’s body in the demon realm so that Jasmine can resurrect him. But he left Jasmine and her other mates behind, and she refuses to allow him to go on this mission alone. Pierce and Sebastian try to stop her, but she is having none of it. So the three of them set off to find her mate.
This series is always good for a good laugh as well as a high-tension storyline. As usual, if something can go wrong, it probably will. Watching Pierce and Sebastian support Jasmine when they realize that she won’t be giving up this mission is amazing. Their trip through hell is both entertaining and enlightening. It was a nice break from the witchy world to see them travel elsewhere and they find more than they bargained for. While technically ending on a cliffhanger, it’s not one that will have you throwing your book. Instead, you’ll just be counting down the days until the next book is in your hands.
