Three Versions of the Truth

Rate this book
If history is the version of events that people have decided to agree upon, what happens to the alternative versions, the lost facts, the unacknowledged motives? In her compelling collection, Three Versions of the Truth, award-winning author Amy Knox Brown explores history¿s impact on the lives of modern-day Midwesterners. These stories zero in on the place where truth and desire collide and examine characters who are forced to make hard choices about the stories they tell themselves.

I guess I shouldn't rate all our books 5 stars. I may appear insincere, like I'm only peddling our wares. Okay, fine. You read it. I'll leave it to you. 5 stars, I'm telling you.

A collection of short stories published by an Indie press in W-S, Press 53, and written by a Salem College professor. Really makes you think about the subjectivity of truth.

These stories, particularly the long ones, are packed with the disappointments and delights of life in a small, Midwestern city.
