Several books have been written on the subject of frugality and being green - this isn’t one of them!
The Leftovers Handbook is about getting the utmost pleasure out of every single scrap of delicious food available. The waste that this book tackles is not that of money or of resources but of good eating opportunities. As a bonus this will, of course, save money and may help the planet.
This is a good comprehensive resource offering many options for leftovers. It's the sort of book that makes a welcome addition to a cookbook collection, whether for a beginner or seasoned cook. I liked the fact that it also included a good scattering of recipes.
