This complete boxed set of The Vampire Coalition includes:
Ethan's Mate: Ethan Hale is a vampire with a mission. Together with his three brothers and a few other unmated members, he fights with The Vampire Coalition to protect humans from fallen vampires. His life is fairly simple. If he has a problem...he solves it. If it's an evil problem...he kills it. But his uncomplicated life is about to end when his mate unexpectedly calls him to her.
Brianna Cole is weak, her life force fading away. She thinks she is suffering from a rare form of leukemia. Little does she knows that her illness is much more complicated. She's dying because she has not united with her vampire mate and given him his soul that she has been guarding since birth.
Rory's Mate: Callie Marks never knew that when she had caught the bouquet at her best friend’s wedding…she would also meet her destiny in the same place. Rory Hale was the nicest, sweetest man she had ever met. He was also the most unattainable. Gorgeous, rich and smart, Rory would never be interested in her. He wouldn’t go for a plump, boring woman that was a chef and suffered from the rejections of her past. Who wanted a foundling that had never even known who her parents were? Little did she know…he was very interested. Unfortunately, he was also a vampire who was ruled by destiny in the mating department. His mate would not be his choice.
Rory Hale had liked Callie Marks since he had met her at his brother’s wedding. Although he couldn’t feel desire for anyone except his true mate, he and Callie had a connection. They became cautious friends and he wished he could offer her more. Underneath his confident exterior, Rory had his own insecurities, but Callie seemed to think he was special.
Nathan's Mate: Jewelry maker Sasha Taylor is from an old and aristocratic line of mages and expected to mate with a mage of the same background to secure a continuing pure line of little magic children. She would probably have complied with the old mage tradition had she not had one tiny problem with the plan. She had the mark of the vampire that she had hidden for years and was slotted to be a mate to one of the savage species of blood drinkers. Mage and vampires did not mix…so she kept the secret to herself and avoided a mating until she meets her mate, Nathan Hale…a vampire that saves her life. Nathan squashes every myth she has ever heard about vampires and she soon finds herself drawn to the very vampire she had fought so hard to avoid.
Liam's Mate: Liam Hale is a vampire healer with secrets, secrets that he has kept hidden for hundreds of years from his brothers for their own protection. He's resigned to his lot in life, to work only for the benefit of his people...until he meets mage healer Regan Taylor. Regan makes Liam want more, much more than a lonely vampire healer can ever possess.
Daric's Mate: Prince Daric Carvillius is the twelve hundred year old Prince of the Vampire Healers, the most powerful being on earth, and very accustomed to getting his own way in every situation. When one of his healers, Liam, finds his mate after an entire millennium had passed without one healer mating, Daric is hopeful that the Carvillius Curse is finally broken; the results of a mistake he made a thousand years ago finally righted, allowing healers to find their mates. The only vampire healer he doesn’t want to see mated is himself, positive that the last thing he wants is a female he has to protect in addition to babysitting his unruly lot of vampire healers. But Daric has a destiny to fulfill, and his fate crashes into his life, literally, one snowy night in Colorado when he rescues a female human, Hannah Temple, from a blizzard.
Note: This book is not intended for YA readers. The book contains graphic language, explicit sex and other material not suitable for YA readers. As noted above, this is an erotic romance.

i can 100% say this is not my normal kind of story. What got me interested was its by my fav author. Then my daughter asked me if i read it and i was like no. She says u should, so i grabed a free copy of Ethans mate and i had to read them all. Mrs Jan once again had me hook line and sinker. I loved it just as i do all books by her. Jan is a fabulous author and to me her writing is like a drug u want more of. lol,
thesestories r fantastic, so if u havent grabed ur copy yet please do. U will be shocked, in awe and amazed all at the same time. i keep trying to figure out which is #1 but i cant because they are all plus 5 stars. Thank u Jan for this amazing box set. U have a real talent. Cant wait to read more by u.
This is a great bundle of sexy vampires. The stories move quickly and are just wonderfully romantic and fun. I am not sure who my favorite is but Rory has a soft spot in my heart. I loved this series and I love J.S. Scott's books!
OMG First time reading this Author was blown away! looking forward to more! Read the entire series in one day, couldn't put them down! Liam's and Daric's mate were my favorite!
I read these as individual books a while ago and really enjoyed them, but going straight onto the next with no break added to the intensity. These are all extremely hot and raunchy and alot of fun.
Amazing compilation of short stories that are exciting, romantic, and refreshingly original. I gave individual reviews for each story, so some of this review may be repetitive, but I also wanted to comment on the boxed set as a whole. Buying them all put together is definitely the way to go because you then have the option of splitting them up when time is limited, or settling in and making them all into one full length novel. I hadn't previously heard of this author, but I enjoyed these stories so much that I went to her website www.authorjsscott.com and looked for more books by her. I found that she is actually a NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, and there are several more boxed sets, as well as full length novels to be enjoyed by her!
For this set specifically, I loved that there were a lot of similarities between these vampires and the ones from several of my other favorite series. For example: these vampires start out as good guys, but they have the potential to turn evil with blood lust (Christine Feehan's Carpathians and Lara Adrian's Midnight Breeds), they are all born, not turned from humans (J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood), they don't have any sexual inclinations until they find their mates (Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark), they share a soul with their mates (Christine Feehan's Carpathians), they HAVE to mate with humans (Lara Adrian's Midnight Breeds), and the way their mates die at 30 if not found reminded me of how Daimons die at 27 in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. HOWEVER, even with all those things in common, this does NOT come off as a copy of any of those. The plots are very original and I really enjoyed them. It was more like combining my favorite vampires and taking them somewhere new.
For the individual ratings, books 1 and 4 were five star, books 2 and 5 were four star (because the heroines annoyed me briefly; one by being in denial and the other by dwelling on the past), and book 3 only got three stars from me. The reason for that is because new things were introduced that I absolutely loved, but they were ridiculously under developed. It made me mad that the book that could have been my favorite ended up being my least favorite. Too many pages were wasted on sex when there was the potential for an awesome story line just sitting there with book 3, Nathan's story. But all in all, each and every book in the set had its high points and I enjoyed them all immensely.
WOW!! Paranormal lust. I am in love with the Hale brothers, each one just as hot as the next. Ethan is one of my favourites since it was my first read, it was him who got me addicted to these reads. I have to say once I was introduced to Daric, I was like Ethan who hehe!! What? He is the king of all vampires, I have a thing for men in power and these vampires have power in spades. Liam and Rory are Ethan's twin brothers with Nathan as the eldest brother, he has kept is brothers together since their parents were killed by fallen vampires. Together all good vampires fight against the fallen who try to destroy humans and kill mates of the vampires who are lucky enough to be mated and find the keeper of their soul. Each brother has their own story to tell, all hoping they find their one true mate. Many vampires believe they will never be mated, especially Liam and Daric as they are healers for all vampires who need there help, healers have not been mated for thousands of years. The chemistry in these stories is off the charts epic. I could re-read this series over and over. Once you get to Daric's Mate you will know all the characters very well, it will be hard to pick a favourite. Thank you for writing a fantastic series Author JS Scott.
I would have given this book a five star rating, but anything that grabs your interest and cuts it short, can only earn four stars. Love the characters, wish I had more of them without jumping to a new book. I think the storyline basis was great, enough that if put to full novels they could have been almost as successful as Kresley Cole or Gena Showalter to name a couple authors of the same genre.
There is a storyline, however there is hardly anything to it to mention. Each installment is a little repetitive, with the exception of the last book and all need a bit more editing.
I have never really gotten into Vampire stories. This is the exception. If I knew that Vampires were like this, I would read them all the time. Unfortunately not all storytellers are as inovative as Ms. Scott. Although the stories are very explicit and I recommend them as adult only, it wasn't so far over the top to classify them as erotica. I just really enjoyed the series and know I will come back to visit this series again.
Note there is one more 'preview' book not included in this collection. I found it as an free ebook on smashwords.
This was an exceptional box set Where vampire brothers have spent over 300 years waiting for their true mates and in each story they do meet and find their mates it just happens that in one case it is because they have met during another brothers meeting his future mate. These stories are very hot eroticism and not recommended for under 18years. The story lines were really great. Definitely buy the box set because you will get all the brothers stories as well as the King's story. Very intriguing.
Really Enjoy This Boxed Set - The Vampire Coalition
Really Enjoy This Boxed Set - The Vampire Coalition
Could not put these stories down! There is not only romance but lots of drama and excitement! Thoroughly enjoyed and love these stories!!!!! I wished there were more of these books in this set.
This story is about three brothers who are vampires and and they are the good guys . They are out fighting the bad vampires the ones that have turned . They are called the "Fallen" . The fallen prey on anything included an especially humans- an the mates the vampires. Fallen find the mates right before the vampires can find there soul mates ( there other half), First you have Ethan who finds his mate - then Rory, followed by Nathan who's mate end's up being a mage , and the last one to be mated is Laim. He is the healer - and he does not expect to ever find a mate. But just when he gives up - fate steps in. The very last book follows their Prince Daric- ( who is actually the King). he also is a healer. The last of the royalty line. He does not want to be king -he likes to look after his people as prince. But something happens in all five of these books they are tied together. You need to read them together. They are a fast read. I was able to read them in one sitting. I give them a 10 plus rating. The plot and the characters are overpowering. You come to believe that you are there beside each one of them . This book is not for anyone under the age of 18. As it has some light bondage and sex in the story. However, it is a fantastic read. I found myself not able to put the book down until I had finished all five of them.
Ethan's Mate by J.S. Scott A very fast paced Vampire erotica short story that has you pinned to your seat in anticipation of what comes next.A very good short story. Rory's Mate Callie never thought in her wildest dreams that she would end up with someone as handsome and wonderful as Rory but to her surprise that's exactly what happens when she becomes Rory's mate. Another sizzling addition to the vampire coalition series. Nathan's Mate The love story of Nathan and Sasha is sweet and hotter than hot. He is a Vampire and she is a Mage who would never think of mating with a feared vampire . But when she gets the mating call she is powerless to resist him. Another great story. Liam's Mate Liam being a Vampire healer never expected to find a mate but when he realizes it's his best friend he can hardly contain himself. I love the fact that Nathan's mate Sasha's sister Regan turns out to be Liam's mate. She is a mage healer and the perfect match for this vampire healer. These stories are very good. Daric's Mate This was the perfect ending to this series,Daric deserved a mate more than anyone and I was ecstatic that he found one even though he wasn't looking. In fact he was dead set against ever having a mate but Hannah cured him of that notion. These two are combustible together and I'm very pleased to know they will be spending an eternity together.
I really like this book series. I don't really care for vampire romances, but this storyplot was very interesting. Their shorter than the Twilight books, but I don't care. I've never read that series and nor will I ever read Twilight.
Love the way the author shed a different light on vampires. This book was funny, interesting, and a great read. Looking forward to reading more books from this author.
