Interesting book, i think i liked the sith one a little bit more just because of the design. One detail i can appreciate in both is how critical luke is in his annotations of both the jedi order and the sith. That being said its woth noting that this has some references to the old canon in it (so all the starwars legacy stuff) which im not super familiar with as i read only about a handful of those books. Overall really enjoyed both and would reccomend it to fans

It is very interesting reads that made me wish the old canon still existed. No more Mara Jade!

I like both books. It’s hard to choose a favorite because they’re so different (obviously). I really like how the books talked about certain things and I was able to remember seeing it in action. I also enjoyed reading the annotations by everyone. Some thoughts made me laugh and some made me say “oh no” or just made everything click together.

Chronicle Books has given Star Wars fans some of the most creative, innovative, and fun gift books available. They specialize in making distinctive books of high quality, books that will please the die hard fan, and did I already mention FUN? If you’ve read Jeffrey Brown’s Darth Vader parenting books then you already know the caliber of books that Chronicle puts out. But if you haven’t picked up their Star Wars diary/notebook series, you’re missing out on something every dedicated fan would love to get their hands on. Comprised of three books currently (a fourth is coming out August 11th – Star Wars: Imperial Handbook), each one is written as a handbook of sorts about different aspects of the Star Wars universe.

Insgesamt gut gelungen!

Somewhat a nostalgia trip as the content of the books comes from different sources I remember from over the years.
