I FINISH IT YEAAH!!
after the mood i had for reading books has gone into the oblivion i finally found the interest to read again! And the story i picked randomly doesn't fail to make me smile like lunatic and laugh like mental. I am in love with this story. There are grammar mistakes and cliche moments and predictable plots but its totally okey since the story itself fills the hole and make me forget about those minus since Alec Blaze just stole my heart and bring it through another galaxy. lol. the point is i loveee it so much much much. I think i maybe fangirling over this author right now. lol.
and anyway the author is from Indonesia, which is my country, how cool is that, people?!?!?

An awesome book. I absolutely loved it! One of my favourite Wattpad story till now and this book is definitely publish-worthy.
Andrea , the protagonist of the story is one of the most popular girls but she is poor. But she's also got a sense of humour and that made the story very lively. I liked the fact that unlike girls in most stories, she didn't easily swoon over boys.
To me, Alec was just the really hot main character until his sister's birthday party. I fell in love with him during that chapter!
Another great thing about this story was that, the author was really really creative. The 'History Class' scene was just adorable!

When I showed him the message, he chuckled. Luckily, it was inaudible.
I winced at him, not sure what was so funny about it. My answer was diplomatic enough to not inflate his ego. As I waited for his phone for his answer, my back got automatically straightened as the sudden feel of his finger on my thighs.
No… he couldn’t be serious.
I wasn’t sure how he did it. The space under my desk was small, and the fact that a guy in Alec’s caliber could fit was still mindblowing to me. Now he somehow could move my thighs so that he was in between them.
“Fucking pervert!” I hissed at him, but he only looked up with an amused expression. Slowly, his lips pouted a bit as his index finger reached the center of his mouth.
‘Don’t make any sound,’ he whispered.
And then, he pressed his lips on my left inner thigh.
Why in the fuck the word ‘disgusting’ didn’t register inside my head, I didn’t have any idea. But for the next few minutes, all I could do was writhe and write and writhe and try my best not to make any sound or make me look suspicious. To say that Alec was an expert in mouth area was an understatement. He was a fucking god at sucking and nibbling and-
Fuck."

I just had to give you people out there a taste of what was in that book and more specifically what you are missing out on!

Jos jedna knjiga sa Wattpad-a i opet sam odusevljena. Ne mogu da vjerujem da ih nikad prije nisam citala.
Ono sto zapravo ne shvatam jeste toliko negativnih kritika za tu odlicnu stranicu. Naprotiv, meni je ovo itekako osvjezavajuce u odnosu na sve ove ''knjige '' poznatih autora. Naravno da nece sve knjige na Wattpad-u biti odlicne, i da da znam da tu je i veliki broj amatera koji nikada ranije nisu nista pisali, ali svako zasluzuje sansu. :D
Sto se tice ove same knjige ''Maid for Hire'' jedino zalim sto ne postoji opcija da se da 6 zvjezdica.

Well, I did NOT expect that from a Wattpad book.
I simply cannot breathe right now.
Why?
Because of the one and only, the most infuriating and adorable human on earth, Alec Blaze.
The grammar isn't terrible but it can be annoying. A golden book, nevertheless.

There's kind of books that you just can't put down and there's book like this one where you just can't continue reading. I didn't like main character at all. I mean she beats people up! And main male character is more feminin than her!

What a SPLENDID book.....
OMG, i really can't forget that HICKEY under the table, it was sooo COOL!! Alec hid under Andrea's table just when the History teacher stepped inside the class. She could feel the movement of his chest and breaths against her calves and thighs....undoubtedly, the BEST PART of the book!!
Again, another AWESOME part was in Alec's bedroom, when, he gives a Hickey to Andrea as a sign of their 'fake sex' to show as an evidence to his sister....oh, yeah, Alec's sister is such a spoiled kid....but it was really funny when Alec turns up the porn videos when he gets into his room with Andrea for his sister's stubbornness and also when Andrea punched Phillip, Alec's stupid step-dad, i really liked it when Andrea stood for Alec....
It was really sweet of Alec when he saves Andrea from getting stripped in front of all the people in the beach.....and oh yeah, Alec was really jealous when Andrea and Gabriel were choosing their condoms on the way of they journey, he was really cute....
And, the two bitches, Cindy and Bernadette, i really hate them, especially Cindy, she's such bitch, but again i feel some of her stupid acts also helped to bring Andrea and Alec closer....
And, of course, in the end when Alec finally proposes to Andrea to be his girlfriend....He sang for he, he even drew a picture of her all by himself, it was really sweet of him.....
I actually love to see happy endings, it's great to see two people getting united after facing a lot of problems and it also makes everyone happy and so this story had, a PERFECT ending.......

I loved the author's other story (Quriky Tale of April Hale). This book is nothing like it. Besides the story* there are so much other problems with it: it's badly written, horrible grammar and phrasing, and wrong use of English/American expressions. It was uncomfortable to read to say the least.
* This book took the most popular manhwa and manga series (extreeeemly similar to H2O and that maid manga, so much so that I would almost call this plagiarism).

December 16, 2025I could not get past the numerous grammatical errors on the first few pages, and in the book synopsis/description. There's no excuse for releasing a book with this many errors.
And how does the author get away with plagiarizing a movie poster ("Easy A" starring Emma Stone) for their independent book?
Perhaps there will be newer editions that the author actually bothers to proofread and/or have professionally edited -- if she doesn't wind up in jail for theft first.

2.3-2.5? I liked Andrea's character, but the whole thing was to cliché even for me (I know) I wasn't into the romance but I have to admit that I laughed a lot. this was funny, and practically like an arc because is from wattpad but It needs some serious editing changes (and I'm not talking about grammar errors, is more like complete scenes and tooo much stuff going on)

I really enjoy what this author writes. I like the characters and the plot and also aside from some editing issues the book flows very well.
I will definitely read more from her.
I loved Andrea, and I loved Alec, but I loved Gabriel the most. Personally I would have chosen Gabriel because I absolutely loathe manwhores. Whatever the reason that they become sluts, it is their choice and that is on them.
And there is something sublimely amazing knowing you are with someone that has only been with you and knows only you in that most intimate way.
Usually guys that have been with so many girls have a very hard time maintaining a relationship even if they are in love. So even if Alec sounds like God's gift to women, he wouldn't do it for me.
I will definitely read more from her.

A sweet and cute story. The beginning was absolutely hands down hilarious , as are most works by Cathy Coco. Her characters have a charm that makes you root for them.
The protagonist is fiesty, independent and ballsy. Just how I like my heroines.
So much for the good stuff.
I felt the story was dragging towards the end, being milked for all its worth. It would have read even more beautifully if the last couple of chapters weren’t included.
All in all, it is a good story, with interesting characters, but it was too long for the simple plot line.

The story was good and it was written quite well, but the dates and stuff were kind of off. The dates of the text messages in the story showed 2012, but it mentioned the rich kid getting an iPhone 7 in the beginning. And one of the rich friends got a brand new iPhone 5, which fits the time frame but not the previous detail. But, ignoring that, it was really good.

The author's notes are just as entertaining as the story itself. The writing/plot itself was average ish, but I must say the quirkiness made me laugh so many times. Scenes and internal dialogue that are unique to this author's writing just click with me ig ^^

I just want to say one thing. Andrea has major anger issues. Seriously there is a line b/n playful punches and full on ones. She needs help. Was good at the beginning but I got sick of their games.
