One summer trip. Two teenagers. Four grandmothers. And a little bit of luck.
I don’t know what I like, and a vacation might be what I need to find my own interests. For my high school graduation, I’m gifted a senior tour of Ireland. Except, it’s the wrong kind of senior. In an unlucky mix-up, I end up on a two-week tour for senior citizens. I may be the rebel on a holiday, but I’m not the only teenager. The bag boy working on the tour is my age, but he’s grumpy.
I can’t quite figure Declan out. He seems to be pulling the wool over my eyes and lying about who he is. But I won’t let a little rain and a grouchy boy wreck my holiday. With the help of four meddling grandmothers, I’m determined to not follow anyone else’s path and find what I like. But every sheep filled path I take leads back to Declan, and he seems to be searching for the same thing as me. What do we really like?
Will the luck of the Irish help me during these two weeks or will I end up forever seeking the pot of gold and never finding it?

It could totally be read as a standalone, since the original Donut Club didn’t play a big part in it. I don’t think the grandmas' appearance was necessary and was a touch distracting (I cringed every time Iris opened her mouth). But omg, the Irish setting was gorgeous, and I had such fun imagining all the places Chelsey went! And I also thought her relationship with her mom was so sweet, I related to it lot because my mom and I are close! ❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀ ~𝓐 𝓕𝓮𝔀 𝓣𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓼 𝓸𝓷 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼~
🩷 Chelsey: Our protagonist. She was the best, and I love her name!
🧡Declan: Ahhh, another great male lead named Declan (shoutout to Just Friends by Haley Pham). However, I wish we’d learned more about his background, he felt a tad underdeveloped as a character because of that.
💛Chelsey’s Mom: She was so great, I love how Chrissy Q. Martin writes parents.
💚Doreen: This woman has issues. What the freak is wrong with her?
🩵The Grandmas: While they are a staple in this series, I wasn’t as huge a fan of them in this book. Like I said in my review above, Iris was way too much for me. ❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀ ~𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓝𝓸𝓽𝓮𝓼~

➪ What You Will Find: Some romance/flirting with a few kisses, light innuendo. ❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀ ★ Final Rating: 4/5 stars!
Just adored this book! Just the right amount of tension and attraction between the characters. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
Thanks to the author for providing this book for my honest review!
Reasons I enjoyed this book: Romantic Happily Ever After Entertaining Page-turner Realistic Easy-to-read Witty Wonderful characters Original Unpredictable Whimsical
It was a cute and easy book but pretty repetitive in the beginning as are the other books after the first one. And the ending of this book felt rushed and felt a bit unfinished. I wish we got some insight to what happens after the last airport scene. This whole series is cute and I would definitely read the books again in between beefier book series as I was able to read a whole book in less than a day they are the perfect pallet cleansers in the best way possible
FMC Chelsey just graduated HS and goes on a surprise trip her mom planned for her to Ireland. Her mom mistakenly booked a senior citizen tour thinking it was for seniors in HS.
Declan, the bag boy, is a penniless son of a billionaire and a grump. They are like the epitome of grumpy-sunshine. They spend time together and fall in love on the trip with the help of a bunch of meddling grandmas.

I don’t know if it’s because I LOVEEEEE Ireland a lot but I found this book really cute. But yet again it’s a billionaire boyfriend thing (although it’s a veryy minor trope in this). I love the aesthetic of this. A cute and cozy read!💗

OMG, this is the sweetest @chrissyqmartin 's book ever! I know I've said it before, but it's true. I honestly don't know how she does it, but she always finds a way to write super cute love srories with super delightful characters. Chelsey and Declan, the main protagonists of Rebel On A Holiday, are no exception. They are the cutest grumpy × sunshine couple ever! Their stay in Ireland is characterized by so many funny circumstances and swoony moments! I swear it's impossibile not to laugh and dream out loud while reading their story!
Thank you Chrissy for sending me an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I swear the incomparable granny brigade made me laugh so hard!
