Just a side note, Chelsea Camaron contacted me through email and asked me to read her novels and review them, she has a third book coming out soon for the Daddy's Girl Series and I was honored she asked! So I promised her I would give her a honest review and here it is.

This book is so sweet and tender I actually cried in certain scenes. Not where you would expect me to, but during the love confessions between Dina and Ryder....

Dina Fowler is a woman with a really not so great track record with men. Her past boyfriend, Michael, was an abusive asshole. There really is no other way to describe him. So Dina puts herself into isolation after Ryder has to step in and save her from a horrible beating. Dina is fragile and vulnerable, and because of her horrible relationship with Michael, she is also now shy. So shy that she can hardly form words much less sentences around Ryder Davenport. It's actually quite cute to read. But her attraction to him is very clear, and rightfully so. Ryder is tatted, reformed bad boy dreamy!

Ryder Davenport has decided, since meeting Dina, that he wants only her. And has sacrificed all the other women in his past to be with her. He has the biggest heart and the sweetest disposition. In all honesty, this is a guy, even knowing he's a player, I would totally still sleep with. He is THAT charming! But sometimes I think his big heart causes more problems than good. Let me explain.

Ryder's past comes with a woman named Valerie who is essentially a loon. She gave her virginity to a man she knew wouldn't want her for more than one night and then she becomes so obsessed that she actually tries to kill herself. It is a rather disturbing section of the book. Ryder, feeling guilty as hell, tries to do right by her. And nearly loses Dina in the process by not being so honest about it. Ryder's heart could lead to his ultimate downfall, but damn do I love him.

Dina has a great best friend, Maggie who's story we will see in Salvaged, who helps her through the tough times in her life. But Maggie is going through some intense stuff with Braydon, who happens to be besties with Ryder. Dina has so many roles in this novel, but throughout it all she is calm and collected. I admired the hell out of her character for being as strong and as sure as she was. I would definitely have lost it if I were in her position!

The love scenes between Ryder and Dina are so beautifully written. Not just the sexual parts of them, but the way they profess their love for one another. The story just flows. No horrible drama where the heroine and hero clash over every little thing. It is so touching to see. We see the story from both points of view, which I am a HUGE fan of! Every few chapters we see Dina's POV and then Ryder's POV. Always fun to see how two people experiencing the same things, see it completely differently. I loved that!

I recommend this book and I am off to read Salvaged now! I give it 4.5 lipsticks!

Restore My Heart was the first full story in the Love and Repair series by Chelsea Camaron.

It was told with a dual POV, Ryder and Dina's. The beginning of the story overlapped with the prequel, allowing us Ryder's perspective for the horrific situation we experienced previously. It then took us through the beginning stages of Dina's healing as well as Ryder's mind set towards Dina. Once the two connected with more than with a cursory hello, the journey began.

I loved Ryder from the moment he met Dina. He was gorgeous, masculine, sexy and confident. With Dina, he was also sensitive, protective and gentle. He knew what he wanted and he owned it; yet he also knew Dina needed time to heal prior to another relationship.

Once they became a couple, Camaron detailed the challenges they needed to overcome. It went a little slow through the middle, but it was an intense passionate read so the detail was needed.

Additional depth was provided through the details from the parties that Dina and Maggie (her best friend and business partner) organized. It added another level of interest.

Although it was well written and well developed, there were a couple editing errors, but nothing too distracting.

All in all, it was a good and quick read that set the stage well for the series. We know something was going on with Brayden and it appears his and Maggie's story is next in Salvaged.

Restore My Heart (Daddy's Girls #1) by Chelsea Camaron

I signed up for the blog tour for Restore My Heart by Chelsea Camaron and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book, Chelsea Camaron's writing was easy to read, the story flowed well and character description were well written. I really really loved Ryder Davenport. I want for myself!

So we meet Dina who has lost her parents in a horrible accident, then fell in love with a man who was abusive and didn't deserve her love and loyalty. To safe guard her heart she puts everything into her work and friends. Dina has known Ryder for awhile and knows his playboy ways. So when he starts paying more attention to her she thinks it's just him being nice to her. Ryder Davenport is sick of the women he has been seeing or should I say sleeping with and really wants to find his one true love. He knows that Dina could be the one.

This is a book about romance, the love of cars, trusting, loving and believing that your dreams can come true.

So all and all I have rated Restore My Heart a 4 star rating, and if you like a bit of spice with your romance novels this is the one to purchase.

I enjoyed this book so much that I went right away and wanted to read the next book in this series call "Salvaged" and it was another great story and Chelsea Camaron has to be commended for writing another fantastic book.

If you looking for a sweet romance then this book is defiantly for you.

Dina has had a hard life from loosing her parents to an abusive boyfriend.

Ryder has been attracted to Dina from the first time he meet her.

He is the love them and leave them type of bad boy. But once he met Dina he wants to change his ways.

Ryder realizes what he has been doing to all the women in his life. And he does not want to be that man anymore.

The book gives you Dina's POV and Ryder's POV and normally I do not like that but in this book it works.

The book is a really quick read and it really is a sweet romance. The love scenes are so sweet and tender.

I love how Chelsea's love of cars is displayed in the book. I am a big fan of Muscle cars!

The book also ended on a bit of a cliff hanger, leaving me absolutely curious as to what the truth actually is!

I will read more from this author. I have to find out what happens... ;)

A quick note. I notice a lot of bad reviews on this book. Let me just say this. This is Chelsea first book and I give her credit to write a book and go after her dreams. How many people do that?
I see great things in her future with her writing.

I do recommend this book for anyone that is wanting a sweet romance with love and tenderness.

For a Debut novel it wasn’t nails on the chalk board bad. Chelsea has the potential to be a very good writer, her descriptions of characters, places and scenes is not overloaded with so much information it would make the eyes burn. She has a delicate hand and I could tell from this story, that she loves cars.

Her passion seemed to spill through which gave the book a dynamic edge I wasn’t sure at first sight it would have. While the story starts off a little patchy, it took a turn for the better catching my attention and giving me a clear picture of how Chelsea weaved it all together into a nice relaxing read.

I loved the plot, the storyline and how she had developed a unique contrast between a mans love of the fast life and fast cars, restoring them to his hearts content turned into how he treated his women, ultimately finding his most prized woman. It is this delicate balance that gave the novel a more life-like feel for me and pleasurable to read.

The only downsides that stuck out, was I felt like it could have been a little more smoother. In the beginning it was choppy, took the book a few chapters to get a good flow. But for a Debut novel that isn’t entirely too bad. Chelsea is just getting her feet wet and I am sure we will see better from her in the future.

Dina Fowler and Ryder Davenport had meet briefly in Crash and Burn and knew there was some strange connection between them but Dina was in an abusive relationship and Ryder didn’t believe in them. To him all a woman got of him was one night – he didn’t even believe in given a second night. But all that started to change when he met Dina and beat the man who was abusing her. After that night he decided to change his ways so he could become the man Dina deserved. That was not a fast process as he also knew she needed time to heal from the emotional abuse she had suffered from her last relationship. Its now 3 years later and due to both of their best friends dating and living together over the past 4 years they see each other often and the spark is still between them. Where we get to watch Dina and Ryder take things slowly and fall in love we watch Brayden and Maggie’s relationship fall apart which is where this book ends and is the set up for the next book which is theirs.

Loved this book!!! I really loved how I was able to relate to Dina and all it took was one line to make it real for me "I didn't know how to get out" those are the words that made it my story. I fell for Ryder and loved how he loved Dina and how he waited until she was ready. I really loved their story and how the author brought emotions out of me. I can never say it enough; i just simply love it when an author captures me with their words. LOVE IT.

I really enjoyed this book. Loved the characters, especially Ryder. I could relate to certain aspects of Dina and the author's knowledge of classic American cars was interesting to me to read given I'm not from America. It was a nice story, well written, flowed well, I loved it. Now I'm moving on to the next book in Chelsea's Daddy's Girls series Salvaged.

What do I love about this story?

The alternating POVs were a different experience but they did exactly as intended in drawing the reader in.

I loved this book. It dealt with an issue close to my heart and realistic in its delivery. Sure the novella took off in unsteady spurts but once it gained momentum it was unstoppable and I had no problem skipping over the small errors.

Fabulous read and even more amazing when I realised it was a debut. Well done and I certainly recommend to myself that I read Salvage next and find out what the hell is going on with our loved up couple, Maggie and Brayden.

Restore My Heart was a cute and enjoyable quick read. Maybe even a little too quick, as it left me wishing there was more. Not to mention the HUGE cliffhanger at the end! Thank god I had book 2 waiting and ready to begin as soon as I had finished this book otherwise I may have gone clinically insane waiting to find out what happened! I absolutely loved the story line, but there was one major thing that kept me from giving it a 4-4.5 star rating. This being that the book switched back and forth between Dina and Ryder's POV pretty much every chapter. Now, I wouldn't have minded this so much if it hadn't been re-telling the exact same thing I had just read, but rather continued the story forward. This is just a personal preference as there were parts where it was a bit too repetitive for me. BUT, with that being said, I did still enjoy reading this story, and I really look forward to reading the remaining books in the series.

Dina's character sounds like such a sweet girl. She has been through so much in her life, but she just keeps pushing forward. Not only had her parents been killed in a car crash by a drunk driver, but she was also in a very abusive relationship for quite awhile. This guy completely broke her down and stripped away all of her self confidence. He beat her up mentally, and physically. The relationship finally came to a close after she ended up in the hospital from the injuries he caused to her, and Ryder (who witnessed Mike, her boyfriend, beating her) made sure Mike would never come around and hurt her again. Now, 3 years later, Dina may just be ready to begin dating again.

Ryder.... sweet, sexy tattooed Ryder was quite the playboy for many years, but once he meets Dina for the first time, he begins to clean up his act. From that first glimpse, he knew that she was the one he had to be with.

" She is like a magnet drawing me over to her. Never have I felt an instant pull to someone like this."

After Ryder sees Dina being brutally beaten by Mike, and just how damaged she is from that relationship, he decided that no matter how long it takes, he will wait for her. The story continues on and 3 years later he sees a possible opportunity to finally make her his. But he has a past, and that past keeps coming back to interfere with what he knows his future is. Will Dina finally be able to open up her heart and let Ryder in? Will she allow those intense sparks between them to ignite into a full blown fire of passion, or will she allow both her past, and his, to ruin their chance of a happy future?

"For me, there is nothing before tonight, she is my beginning and my end, and this is all that matters."

To me this is a love story with the "love at first sight" element. Both Dina and Ryder were in separate relationships when they first met but as soon as Ryder laid eyes on Dina he knew immediately that he was a goner. Dina's interest sparked as well and as soon as her possessive boyfriend caught her staring he proceeded to manhandle her out of sheer jealousy.

It was never any of his business but seeing a broken and beaten woman, he decides to make it so. With the help of their friends, that night Ryder becomes Dina's saving grace. He knew then on that Dina was someone who he wanted permanently in his life and it was high time to get his act together. For her he would do anything. He would get his life straight and wait until she was ready.

Over the years they keep on bumping into each other but it was never seemed like the right time. Three years after that horrific night they simply can not fight the inevitable any longer. They both decide that it was high time to give what they had a chance.
________________________________________

I liked Ryder's character, sure he was a "love them, and leave them" kind of guy in the beginning but as soon as he found Dina he goes through hoops to make things right. He becomes that honorable, responsible guy that everyone loves.

Dina was great too, despite her heartbreak from loosing her parents she was able to build a successful career. Despite the impact of her failed relationship she still remained steadfast. Her relationship with her bestie Maggie - was something I really admired. And I am definitely looking forward to reading her story next.

I liked that even with their smoldering chemistry that it took them years to act upon. Both needed those years to mature individually and I think that was what made their relationship even more perfect. I also enjoyed that it was written in both their POV's. I seemed to have enjoyed Ryder's point a view better than Dina's for some unexplainable reason.

The only thing that I would change about this one? I wish it was longer! I also wish that one of the exes could've made a surprise appearance...give this story a touch of spice, a little more oomph. For a debut story though I thought it was great and really do look forward in reading more of this series.

Dear merciful heavens, this could be used as an example of EVERYTHING not to do in a romance novel! I seem to be picking all the wormy apples lately:~|

Horrid writing style. It read like a 2POV journal.

Wacky flow. For the first several chapters, time would skip about and it was like trying to piece together a half-lost jigsaw puzzle to figure out when shit was happening/had happened/might happen/ shoulda-woulda happened! Further in, the multiple POVs at different time frames left the story disjointed.

Male MC starts off delving into the why's and how's of what makes a girl easy, some Cinderella shiznet, and how he's a lifer bang em and hang em kinda guy. Basically love exists, it's just not for him. Then, out of the wild f'ing blue, he rambles straight from that^ into how he's head over heels for his bf's gf's roommate; wtf? Whiplash, anyone?!? She wears baggy clothes, no makeup, and is akin to a hermit (all according to her) because she doesn't want to be "noticed," but she drives a Mustang Cobra because she's "rebuilding her life."

Horrible plot pace and character interaction. For the first 50% of this book, the MCs literally say 3 sentences to each other and scramble off somewhere else directly afterward. Then, bam they're suddenly in the throws of soulmate, I love you, must have you, can't live without you for the last half... But of course, the male MC must be 1000's of miles away with another chick or trapped at work 20 hours a day for the remainder of the book because God forbid these two actually have some dialogue that's not simply professing how much they want each other.

The plot sucked.. the secondary plot sucked. Waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. Okay, you've 'loved' the chick for three years and you're waiting for what? A magic sign that says "now serving?" Idk? Oh, and after all this waiting and some additional waiting because he doesn't want their first time be in the heat of lust and all, what's their first time? In her car sitting in his drive. Well, wasn't that special?! The whole "he's acting weird" subplot with her Bff's bf was laughable. BFF or not, you fight and break noses and ribs and throw a temper tantrum that f's up cars and equipment that costs more than your house and puts my business in trouble, ahh, yeah, that'd be friendship over, finito, adios. But, no, they fist pump it out and MC gives him a raise. Oooookay!

What's a bad romance without a slice of cheese? Feels his presence before sees him; sniffs his unique scent; falls into Ryder hazes; stuttering; weak knees; shivering; inner monologues of "he loves me, he loves me not;" Etc..

Needless to say that I will not be continuing onward in the series!

This was such a beautiful story about a broken girl named Dina, who has repeatedly been dealt shit hands in life. When we first meet Dina, all seems to be going pretty damn well in her life, she has her best friend Maggie that she spends her work days with, and they always squeeze in girls day mani/pedi once a week. However the longer you read, the more you realize, Dina's life is far from heaven, as a matter of fact, she seems sadly like she is in hell, and Maggie is the only brightness in her life. And Dina has been staring at all these puzzle pieces, that once made the picture of her life, for so long now, they all are starting to blur blur together, and she's so tired of it, she finds herself ready to just toss the puzzle in the trash.
Ryder, ohhhh...... Ladies, Ryder, suave, smexy, fuggin tatt's, fuggin BUILT! Fuggin hot!!! Ryder. He's been playin the field for as long as he can remember, and shit that was the field he loved to play, he and his best friend Brayden restore cars at his restoration car garage, and he has been sippin the high life, the good life for a long time, and he sees no reason to change a damn thing in his life. Then one night Brayden, Maggie, and He end up at Dina's house and she is getting her ass beat down like a grown ass man, but by her boyfriend!
Something primal and fierce engulfs Ryder, and he knows come hell's fires, come high waters, he will keep Dina safe, and she will never hurt again. For the first time ever, he has found someone that he will wait forever for, he will be a better person, a better man, it's time for change in Ryder's life, and he is going to make that change, and then he is going to make Dina his.............
I loved it! Quick read, a quick must read! This book has the perfect balance of emotions, it grabs you very early and doesn't let you go, and when it ends, you have the joyful pleasure knowing that Brayden and Maggie's story, is just a click away on amazon, book 2 Salvaged is available! Can't wait!!!!!!
I give Restore My Heart 4.5 Damn I love this book Kimmi stars!!!!!!

I JUST FINISH READING RESTORE MY HEART AND I LOVE EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT. I REALLY ENJOY THIS BOOK SO MUCH THAT I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. I LOVE THE CHARACTER AND LOVE HOW THE BOOK IS FROM BOTH POV.
THE BEGINING OF THIS STORY DINA FOWLER'S SEEM LIKE A HAPPY GIRL WHO HAS EVERYTHING,SHE WANTED,SHE HAVE HER OWN BUSINESS ,HER BEST FRIEAND MAGGIE WORKING WITH HER, BUT ONCE YOU GET MORE INTO THE STORY YOU START TO SEE THAT DINA IS A BROKEN HEART GIRL.WHO WHEN THROUGH AN ABUSSIVE RELATION SHIP, DINA IS GETTING TIRE OF THE WAY HER LIFE HAS BECOME, AND THATS WHEN SHE DECIDE THAT IS TIME TO LEAVE HER LIFE AGAIN.
RYDER DAVENPORT, OHH I AM SO IN LOVE WITH RYDER, HE IS TALL ,BUILT,INK,AND ONE SEXY HELL OF A MAN, HE'S BEEN PLAYING THE FIELD FOR AS LONG AS HE CAN REMEMBER, AND DAMN THAT WAS THE FIELD HE LOVE TO PLAY, HE AND HIS BEST FRIEND BRAYDEN RESTORE CARS RYDER OWN A RESTORATION CAR GARAGE, AND HE HAS BEEN LEAVING THE HIGH LIFE,THE GOOD LIFE FOR A LONG TIME AND HE SEES NO REASON TO CHANGE A DAMN THING IN HIS LIFE,
THATS IS INTO HE MEET DINA, BY THAT TIME SHE WAS WITH HER EX, IN A ABUSIVE RELATION SHIP RYDER SAW EVERYTHING FIRST HAND,AND HE PUT A END TO THE BASTART, MEANING HE BEAT THE SHIT OUT HER EX, THATS WHEN HE DECIDE TO CHANGE HIS WAYS, AND CHANGE HIS LIFE TO WAIT FOR DINA.

I am writing this review after reading this for the second time. Ryder has been in love with Dina for years. Dina has so much that she had went through. My heart went out to her from the beginning. She was so strong with all she had to go through and has the greatest friends and support system.

Ryder! Oh were do I start with Ryder? Besides the fact that I am a HUGE car buff and love a big, hot, sexy man who can take apart a car and put it back together again... Enter Ryder the amazing, sexy, alpha who changed his entire out look on relationships and pretty much life in general when he saw Dina! There is nothing sexier than a guy who wants to take care of you, who puts you first and oh jeez what am I talking about... HA HA Let's get to what you really wanna know. There is amazing heat! The tension between these two is off the charts! The fact that neither can form a sentence without cramming a foot down their throat because they are trying to control their sexual tension inferno. Because let's face it, its far more consuming than just a spark! I recommend this entire series! It is sweet, sexy, funny and there are plenty of WTF and OMG moments to keep you guessing. Not only are Dina and Ryder amazing characters but the secondary characters (which really are so much more than secondary) are just as great!

I'm a very lucky person...I won Full Throttle and was just freaking lucky that Chelsea Camaron gifted me this book. I read it in one sitting!!!! It was that good.

From the cover you know there is gonna be a car. Who doesn't like classic cars and a Tattooed bad boy who restores them? HOT!!!! Dina is broken. She's lost her parents and was in a relationship that completely tore her apart physically and emotionally. Enter Ryder Davenport, her best friend Maggie's boyfriend's best friend. He rescues Dina and ensures that the jerk boyfriend doesn't come back.

This story was awesome! It was nice to have both POV's like they were because I have to say in a lot of books it's nice to be able to know what the guy is thinking. Ryder isn't perfect. He's a love em leave em type who when he meets Dina for the first time realizes he wants to be different. As time passes he realizes he doesn't like the way he's treated women in the past and views himself as just as bad as Dina's ex. On his road to redemption and Dina's road to fixing what is broken. We get to be there for it all. I just wish it would have been longer. I want more and thankfully I have the rest of the series that is available! Pick it up you will not be disappointed.

WOW...I loved the main character Ryder He loves cars, motorcycles, women and has tattoos. His match is Dina and the story is told in a way that makes you fall in love. Why? there is no billionaire, no bdsm and no poor innocent virgin. I loved the story for the "hot topic" issues. Things that happen are so common in middle America so I LOVED the doses of reality that were there. I can only imagine how difficult it is to write a story as volatile as theirs.

Dina suffered, her pain is very real and relevant to the story. I liked the growth of characters in Maggie and Brayden who were the sub plot. Dina's best friend Maggie, Maggie's boyfriend is Brayden. Domestic abuse does not happen to married couples and can happen to younger people too. This is depicted well. I can say the rest of the series will be #1 on my list.

The ways in which Ryder and Dina evolve will leave you breathless! Great read especially for the chicklit and new adult fans ***has heat

This was good. It was a little hard to read at first and there were a lot of mistakes in the first few pages. I almost put it down but it got better. The story was really good ones it got going and the characters were described good. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the ending. It kind a ended with no warning or build up to the next book. It almost seemed like it was longer and the writer just cut it off to make two books and with the description for the next book at the end of this one I really hope this story continues and doesn't just end to start a story about the other couples. I will read the next one not only because I was asked to by the author but because I hope she improved her writing and to see what plays out with this story.

Chelsea pens "Restore My Heart", the first book in the 'Daddy's Girls' series, in a smoothly flowing, well written plot filled with a bit of steamy romance. Her characters were well developed, believable and her descriptions pulled you right in and won't let you go. Be warned there is a nice cliffhanger, but it only makes you wish the second book was out now.

LOVED this book!!!! The bounce back in the POV works well!
Dina is a young woman with a past that includes the untimely death of her parents in a car accident, and an abusive jerk for a boyfriend.
Ryder is the tattooed playboy who likes to sleep around.
When they meet for the first time, there is an instant attraction between the two of them. Ryder is Dinas hero when she needs him most.
When a girl from Ryders past gets involved will it be too much?
Will Ryder be able to restore her heart?

Big thank you to Amy Cox for suggesting this! Dina has had a pretty hard last few years and an asshole of an ex to boot! Biding his time and just waiting to show that she can have love is Ryder. Ladies the man, the sexy alpha that can take a ten dollar clunker and make it a million dollar piece of perfection and clean up and make you scream the walls down! I am in love with this series and there are more books!!!! Chelsea Camaron is a rock star!

Restore My Heart by Chelsea Camaron was a fun and cute read.
Now.....what did I think when I read the title? Aaah * lightbulb flashing over my head* " this maybe has cars involved...". So yeah. This book had some really good classic cars in it, but the cars only played a small side roll in the book. The actual story is about Dina, a young woman who has been destroyed by her last relationship. During the times Dina spent in college, she dated a guy who used her insecurities against her....slowly breaking her allready fragile soul ( both Dina´s parents died in a car accident) to a point where she was nothing but numb. And during that time......her best friend Maggie, and Maggie´s boyfriend Brayden have seen far too much of the blue and black bruises on Dina´s body. But the person who acted faster than lightning was Ryder, the guy Dina secretly adored from afar. And since that day where Ryder beat the living day-lights out of Dina´s abusive boyfriend, she lived a better life...away from that asshat. Thanks to Ryder!

Ryder was known for being a playboy at college. The good looking player believed in true love, marriage, children...the whole package, but he knew he wouldn´t find that great package while dating the girls he knew in college. Ryder dated as many as he could without even thinking about his actions and their consequences. He meets Dina and slowly feels that the girl is more than just a girl he would date. Something about Dina made Ryder want to change his ways with women completely. And thats what he did! After seeing how Dina was manhandled by her boyfriend and then witnessing the brutal attack on Dina one night, Ryder changed the way he thought about women and gave his playboy life up. For Dina only.

A couple of years later, Dina and Maggie have their own buisiness and Ryder has his own shop where he restores cars! ( I knew I was right after I was at 6% into the story,lol)....
When Dina bumps into the sexy as hell playboy Ryder, she hardly gets a word out. And of course.....that has something to do with the fact that Ryder WAS a playboy and not to forget, about Dina´s lack of self-worth and confidence. But Ryder is determinded to have Dina for himself, even if that means he has to wait for enternity for Dina to heal.
Ryder is an ace at restoring cars, but will he be able to restore Dina´s heart?

All in all.....this book was good. Nothing to sexy and to dramatic. Oh, don´t get me wrong......if a person gets abused by their boyfriend then I do think that´s dramatic. I just wish the author would have colored the painful situation a little bit more out so I could understand more of Dina´s feelings, because I kind of felt that it didn´t really bother Dina much. It just looked like Dina was chewing gum and then carelessly spit it out. ( that´s how I felt)

The only thing I have to complain about is the fact that the book was short. I read it within a day. And all the happenings were just flying by. I was barely in the moment when then, all of the sudden, the moment was over and then came the next short moment. It was like all the characters had only a few hours left to live, so they packed everything in a short amount of time to get things said and done.
This book wasn´t confusing.....it was just short. But still a good story. I guess I can´t have everything in a book, can I ? * laugh*

OH!! This author has a great talent for making chiffhangers! ( Note to author: THAT SUCKS!) * laughing myself silly* The story ends with a BAM and now I MUST read the second book!

WOW...I love a man who has tattoos, and rides a bike, and looks fit. Everything else is an added bonus. That being said where can I find me a Ryder.

Dina suffered great loss in her life. By that happening she also suffered through a horrible relationship. The guy beat her, belittled her, and was just plain rude. Dina's best friend Maggie, Maggie's boyfriend Brayden and their friend Ryder saw what this scum has done to Dina. The last time he put his hands on her Ryder beat the crap out of him. I have to say though that when Dina saw Ryder something came alive, she could feel when he entered a room. Ryder was a playboy. Always looking for the next girl to get into his bed. But when he saw Dina something changed in him. Then he saw how her boyfriend treated her and he himself decided he had to change if she was going to ever think about being with him.

When you first start the book Chelsea mentions that it is in 1st person and the scenes are repeated. Which is great. I like to know what the other character is thinking and feeling when things go down. There was a lot of this in this book. Some people might not have liked it but oh well that is them.

After years of waiting Ryder decides to take his chance with Dina. Dina was shy at first but Maggie talked to her and Dina realized that she needs to be like her old self. Out going, fun. She takes that step with Ryder and they profess their love for each other. They do have a few rough bumps but every relationship does. They get along great, have the same love for cars. I have to say if I was Dina that would be a major plus in my book.

I am glad that they got together. I think when sparks fly they fly for a reason. That we shouldn't avoid those sparks. When you can feel that special person enter the room, that should be your sign that he/she is the one. I have my one. Do you?

I would so recommend this book to my friends. I think Chelsea did a great job regardless of those other reviews. We all can't like the same things. However I feel if your going to write a review write it about the book and and not the author and how she needs to get an editor, ect......Chelsea I loved this book, and I can't wait to read the rest in this series. You go girl.

Fairly quick read, and a good story of rising from your past and finding strength again. Dina is completely broken after losing her parents and then an abusive and controlling relationship. She turns in on herself, living with her best friend Maggie, and running their promotions business. After Ryder beat and ran off her abusive ex three years ago, Dina hasn't dated anyone since, but she's always had her eye on Ryder.
Ryder hasn't been able to continue his playboy ways since rescuing Dina, vowing she's the only one he wants and he's determined to wait for her, however long it takes until she's ready. He's surprised when she finally starts talking to him and coming out of her shell a bit. She's finally starting to be her old self again.
Ryder's past is still haunting him in the form of a messed up Valerie, very unstable and emotionally broken, after he used her and then left, but he tries to stay friends and take care of her. Starting up a new relationship with Dina though, Valerie's troubles keep getting in the way.
Eventually, Ryder and Dina seem to get their timing, and their feelings, in sync and the sparks start flying.
This is a good little love story I'd recommend to someone looking for a light and quick romantic read. It's a bit steamy, but not raunchy, and the characters are easy to feel.
I would recommend a trip to the editor or a good proofreader, as there were quite a bit of errors. It took away from the story a bit, but it was still easy to read.
