[Siren Everlasting Classic Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, ice play, HEA] What if finding your mate isn't all roses and sunshine? That is the question Angelo begins to wonder after meeting Bishop, a snow leopard with OCD. He thinks life will be better after finding his mate, but soon learns that just because two people are fated to be together doesn't mean they will get along. Bishop Marshal loves the fact that he's found his mate. But living with the man is an entirely different thing. Angelo is the messiest man Bishop has ever met, and the fox shifter is his mate. Sex is great between them, but letting the man move in is a whole other ball game. Can the two find common ground and work things out, or has fate made a mistake this time? Also, can Angelo find out who the three mysterious men are who have come to town? With Maverick gone and the paranormal world in chaos, Angelo decides to take the matter into his own hands. ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
OK.. why is this called TEACHING ANGELO?? Angelo is not a virgin so doesn't need to be 'taught' about sex. The relationship issues are on Bishop and his OCD. The flip between OCD freak out'ness and post near death experience just seemed too much of a change of ways.
While I liked that this isn't an instant love match mating and they are unsure of each other right off the bat after sex, dealing with a person's hangups (like OCD) is not an immediate fix. Too unrealistic.. No snarky comments about if you want realism don't read paranormal! Even paranormal books should have some limits. Adding some realism to the fantastical makes for a better book. Too much 'out there' and it's like reading a foreign language.
Ok now WHERE THE HELL did kidnapping Xavier and Panahasi being trapped come into play? What book did I miss these events??????? Plus Dante's coven is wiped out? I had to have missed or skipped a book so need to know which one! Unless it's Ceri from Christian's Coven.. SO if we are going to have the series more intermingled than ever before there should be a bigger picture series attached for those that fall behind! GRRRRR
Se leyó tan rápido este libro. Angelo y Bishop fueron interesantes, en el mejor de los casos. No me gustó mucho cómo se trató el toc de Bishop, y solo puedo decir: pobre Angelo.
OMG!! THAT END!! WHAAAAAAATTTT!! Another Cliffy... Whooo--boy. Lynn sure is dragging this out. I am so glad we might not have to wait TOO long to see what happens...but....BUT..BUT!!!!--- This wait for the next will be torture! GAHHH!! THAT END!!! THAT. END.
I really enjoyed the beginning of this book, especially since Angelo (fox shifter) finds his mate, Bishop (snow leopard), and for once both characters were on the same page without one feeling the need to make the whole mating aspect of the story so highly difficult. They both flirted mercilessly and humorously with each other, and wasted no time falling into bed. It was after that that Angelo's trouble started. Bishop just happened to be severely OCD, and couldn't tolerate Angelo's messiness, so naturally he started pushing him away. I was so annoyed with Bishop for how he was treating his mate, which left me wondering why Bishop didn't just simply explain his issues to Angelo (yeah, that would be too easy and more entertaining for me. :D).
There were plenty of intense situations going on in the background that the two main characters could have communicated their feelings without it taking anything away from the intricately woven plot. I was ecstatic that there were so many past characters who have grown dear to my heart, included in this addition to the series, and luckily the author found a way to remind us of who some of the secondary characters were, which really helped me to remember their stories (some from her other series). As usual, I found this to be quite an engaging, a little bit sad, and sizzling read.
Judulnya kurang tepat seharusnya Teaching Bishop karena yang mempunyai isu adalah Bishop bukan Angelo. Mereka berdua memang bertolak belakang, Bishop is a clean freak sedangkan Angelo is a slob tetapi bukan perbedaan tersebut yang membuat hubungan mereka sulit untuk tumbuh.

damn it! I want to know what the hell is happening with Panahasi!! The little teasers at the end of all see books is killing me slowly. I'm reading whole books just to hear tiny pieces of information about what's happening to him and his mates, we need a demon realm book and soon!!
I'm glad Xavier has been rescued, don't think I could stand thinking the little boy was missing for much longer, but while I love that Lynn Hagen has blown new life into this world, she is taking her sweet time in resolving the twists she has added resently, seems that there are more new twists in a book then resolutions.
So far off the top of my head we have - Panahasi, he needs to break free of the primal source. - If he Accepts jadens help, with their be a story for him?( While that might not sound right since he is death, I think he should have a chance but then again, I'm just throwing ideas around here, it's late and I feel like working this out in my head so sorry if this doesn't sound relevant) - who was the burned guy at the end of Ceri? Is it Dante?? Is he Kory's mate? - And who exactly is Kory?? - I think Parker's story is next in firehouse rescue but I'm not one hundred percent sure - when will we have Sebastian's story? He must have one as he seems to be sticking around brac village for the time being. That's all I got, sorry for all the ramble to whoever reads this :)
Again a protagonist comments on how kissing is a dying art form. I don’t mind some repetition in these series since there’s just so much you can do with the concept, but those recurring character bits recently aggravate me.
All these mating stories are more like arranged marriages than anything else. Well, and lust-driven. Strangers thrown together in an intimate relationship and having to figure things out from there. That’s kind of sad. I so much prefer love to happen because of who someone is, and then taking it from there, instead of the other way around. And yet I keep reading these books.
Anyway, what’s with this obsession about teaching Angelo about sex? He seems quite experienced to me and not particularly shy. Weird.
“His mate was mewling like a well-fucked sex kitten.”
Ah, I see we’ve upgraded from a mere “well-fucked kitten”. I am glad about that. This is slightly less disturbing. Slightly.
The interaction between Cecil and Maverick in that longer bit towards the end is actually sweet. Huh. They do convey a sense of long-standing closeness – without the usual perfect harmony. Nice.
And we get news on the you-know-who front in the teaser.
First read 1-3-14 I read this one before Ceri and I got a few spoilers :(
With that said, I found that I didn't like Angelo or Bishop. I guess I should say I didn't KNOW them. I wanted more of their relationship, but instead I got Maverick's problems, Cecil being Cecil, Panahasi issues, etc.
I wanted more of Angelo and Bishop. I wanted to know how Bishop was going to deal with his OCD. If Angelo was going to start being cleaner or make Bishop deal with it? I wanted to know how they were going to be as a couple. Hell, we barely saw them together because Bishop had his head up his ass for far too long.
Did Bishop ever give Kade a piece of his mind for Kade falling asleep?
I just read Lynn Hagen's Teaching Angelo and was pleasantly surprised. It was not formulaic writing or just cut and paste from other stories. The claimimg scene between Angelo and Bishop was sensual and original, maybe a tad long, but Bishop likes to play. Lynn also gave us a moment with Cecil reflecting on his behaviour. Definitely one of her better Brac books.
It was ok. Not my favorite Lynn Hagen book. Jumped around the series in the book and also was disappointed with Angelo and Bishop's relationship. Jumped in the sack right away, not terribly believable as far as a connection goes.

My major complaint with this story - which dropped it down to 2 stars - NO ONE has any kind of water play without lube and has it feel good. Why no lube for the tub scene? You had lube in every other sex scene - why not make sure to have it in the ONE scene that DEMANDS it more than the others.
Ok so every review I give for Lynn's books are always positive. that being said I thought this book jumped around a little. Don't get me wrong I loved to plot but found myself drifting. Still all in all I loved the book.
I feel like I'm missing somthing every time it goes to one of the people from the Den or Christian or the demon warrors I feel like I have no idea what is going on.
