“How can I fight for you when I don’t know what I’m fighting for?”
When Grace Tate became one of the fallen to protect a vampire, it got her into more trouble than she’d bargained for. She’s angry at Charlotte for hiding the truth, and with Josh living in the city and Seth missing, life is harder than ever.
It’s about to get a lot harder…
Grace doesn’t want to leave Hopetown Valley, but when Josh ignores her calls she decides to go and search for him. She doesn’t expect to run into Seth as well.
When she reaches the city, Grace learns that Charlotte is the most hunted vampire in Wide Island. The city vamps want her blood, and the angels are after her soul. Grace gets caught in the crossfire of a battle she never wanted, but to win one war, she has to fight another.
Torn between the one she gave up everything for, and the one who sacrificed everything for her, Grace has to face Charlotte, and the past, if she wants to fight for her future. But how can she fight for someone who doesn’t want to fight for her?
Every choice Grace makes becomes a battle, and in every battle someone has to die.

The stakes have never been higher in this installment. Love, lives, and friendships are on the line. Secrets are revealed and decisions must be made. Everything comes to a head the only question is who will be left standing when the dust settles. I enjoyed the higher stakes and the fast pace. Again I was a little disappointed in not seeing more of Seth. I think it's because I've read Sacrifice and fell in love with him but then his thoughts and his ppv were lost in the other stories. I tried to be open minded about Josh but I just didn't care for his character like I did Seth. I hope and pray in the next installment if there is one that we see more of Seth. I'll be looking forward to see what happens next.
Fight For Me is the sequel to Fall For Me, a series about a protection angel named Grace Tate and her human twin brother, Archer. Grace reincarnates over and over as a twin of the Tate boys, down the family line, an arangement that means she has a telepathic link with each one and lets them be an awesome vampire-hunting duo.
Everything's going swimmingly till Charlotte shows up and drags Archer, Grace and Josh -- Grace's boyfriend -- into her mess. Fight For Me picks up after the dust settles. Of course, the peace and quiet don't last long.
While Fall For Me was a good read -- fast-paced, with a plot twist at the end that made me gasp -- Fight For Me is great. I think Kim really hit her mark with this one, maybe because the initial worldbuilding has been taken care of and she can really sink her teeth into the story. (See what I did there?)
In the first book I didn't like Josh very much; he got super jealous of Grace and her love/hate relationship with fellow fallen angel Seth, and his attitude kind of bugged me. Fight For Me is dual POV between Grace and Josh, which worried me at first, but although Josh is clearly still very troubled in the second book (because spoilers), seeing it from his perspective made me understand him better. He's still not my favourite -- if I had to choose a boyfriend for Grace, I'd choose Seth. But Josh still redeemed himself somewhat in my eyes.
My favourite character in both this book and the previous one is Archer, Grace's brother. He's a total smartass, and isn't afraid to tell it like it is when Grace is getting a little overwrought. But at the same time he's protective of her. He's basically what Xander from Buffy would be if you made him a slayer too.
As with Fall For Me, Fight For Me had an awesome plot twist at the end, and again I didn't see it coming, although in hindsight the clues were there. I love that!
Finally, the epilogue makes it clear there's at least one more book in the series, which is always exciting. I love a trilogy!
4.5 Stars I love this series!!! I am so in love with this story and I am glad that it will keep going! The tale continues with Grace, Archer, Charlotte, Seth, Josh and Ryan. The angst and fighting continues. Fighting for something you are to believe is wrong but in your heart and head you know is right. Vampires are the enemy, at least that what Grace is supposed to be fighting against. But what if a vampire used to be an angel, is she still bad? Loyalties are tested, memories are erased. Who will Grace choose? Seth, the angel that gave up everything because he loved her or Josh, the man that she ruined to save his life? The vampires want to walk in the sun, the only way to do this is with Charlottes blood. Grace and Archer can not let that happen. The journey to save the world from a legion of daywalking vamps ends with this book (maybe) but the journey to save Grace is just beginning. I can not wait for more of this story! I am completely addicted! Everything I love is here. Great job on the KA Last!
I have read book one, and the novellas K.A. also released, so I was eager to get stuck into this next installment. To start off, we see Seth stuck in the In-Between with Angelica. It feels kind of jumpy, and a little confusing as Josh is shot up, then sent away. I felt a bit like I missed a chunk where Josh has slept with Grace and is suddenly in Wide Island. Maybe I just need to read the end of book 1 again, or one of the novellas. Either way, I was kind of confused at first, but I did get over it. The first half, I'd say, is much slower than the first book. As it jumps between Grace and Josh, I feel like we kind of go in circles as they keep missing each other. But when things do finally happen, they really happen. The second half definitely moves along and gave plenty of action. I'll keep reading this series for sure, and hope Grace and Seth end up together with a nice HEA! Oh, and Archer too, because he's great.
Can I just say that it is so good to be reading a book by K.A. Last again! It feels like home. I love the way she writes. Her characters are your friends; your family. I feel vulnerable.
I've been waiting for her to finish Fight For Me and it was worth the wait.
She was the first author to introduce me to angels in this kind of a setting. I love how each chapter is from the perspective of the main characters and how they perceive what is going on.
Will Grace finally decide between Josh and Seth?
Will we find out why Charlotte was turned?
So many lives have been broken by Charlotte's turning and Grace's decision to fall. Where do they go from here to heal?
Get this book right now. Read it and you will be so happy! Now I have to wait for the third book and that makes me sad. I don't want to wait!
Fight For Me picks up shortly after Fall For Me left off. It’s full of twists and turns, and danger in the big city. Toto, this isn’t Kansas anymore. (I’m not sure what the equivalent is in Australia, but they sure aren’t in Hopetown any longer!)
The stakes have been raised. Lives are on the line, not to mention hearts, and it’s not all pretty.
Supercharged with action and plenty of adventure in the land down under.
Every choice is a battle. that's the running theme on this book.
Grace is in trouble keeping her mind on the mission is harder than ever. She's fed up on the lies and half truths being told, from both Seth and the Angelic council... (I think the angelic council have definitely forgotten what being good actually means)
Angelica is a total narcissist and she's supposed to be an angel! she needs sending to oblivion or hell.
Grace , Archer and Ryan head to the City to look for Josh and Charlotte, and then discover that Lucas has a far worse plan in store if he gets Charlotte.
the book was fast paced and new characters introduced but I was not happy with what Michael did to Ryan #JusticeforRyan 😭
I enjoyed the book, the last book in the series is Fight for me, so I'll have to find that copy online.
Fight for me is the much anticipated sequel to Fall for me and Sacrifice, and doesn't disappoint. The events carry on a few months after Fall for me, and deal with the aftermath of Josh turning into a vampire. It was quiet heartbreaking knowing that Grace had never told Josh that she loved him. I won't say anymore, but make sure you have tissues prepared when you read this. You'll be in for an emotional rollercoaster
So many things happening. So many tears cried. I hope there's one more book, because I have no idea where things are going to go. I know what I want to happen ... But spoilers is the only way to tell you that. There's a lot more of this story to finish up. Everything I've rea from Ms. Last has been fantastic and different.
