This is an essay on gray, dedicated to author of "On Being Blue" (help yourself googling him). I can compare this book to a seemingly endless train of thought, that many people are experiencing while trying to fall asleep. There are many excellent ideas and visions here, along with questionable ramblings in form of page long sentences. Though this is a gray book, so it is perfectly conceivable. Some pages amazed me, some left bored. I am not sure whether hypnagogic style of the book is a thoughtful construct or a result of author's fascination in complex vocabulary. But I do suggest taking a dictionary and reading some sentences twice. In many cases you will grasp the meaning during the second run. If you, like me, is not a native english speaker, proceed slowly (or don't bother at all).
I recommend this book to the ones, who appreciate flowery style essays and love gray color. If you think it is a vague advice, read the book, it will redifine the "vague" for you.
