“By Grace you have been saved…”

Childhood friends Leah and Erica have been sacrificial lambs at the altar of a scandalous corruption within the Catholic Church, violated by those who have, in their lust for power, turned the sacred profane.

The mystery of Leah’s disappearance results in a long-awaited reunion, but it is tainted by both their loss of innocence and a deep, unfathomable sorrow, which only leads to more secrets that have yet to be uncovered.

The revelations Erica and Father Michael have already exposed in their search to find the truth have only scratched the surface of the mystery they are about to unravel.

But will their discovery serve to save them and redeem the innocence they have lost, or will the sins of the fathers prove to be too powerful and destroy them all?

This was not as convoluted as book #2, but it had waaaaay tooo much drama!!! Baby mama drama, that is. Leah is brokenhearted over her baby being stolen by the social worker and is going through a deep depression. All she wants is her baby back and she and her lover get married in order to appear as a stable family in front of the court. Erica is still infatuated with the unavailable good priest, but is able to move on with a new, younger and shinier beau. There is more angst and drama in this than erotica, so that let me down a bit. However, it was a decent conclusion to the series. However, I still prefer this author's pure erotica and short stories - they are what she shines in and are what her readers have grown to expect... And she is just better at that, than the scattered and angsty plot lines. Stick with your strengths, I would say:):) Or just write more regular romance under a different name, since there would be no expectations:):)

Read only as a part of the trilogy and only if you have no problem with TABOO Sex and themes.

:: 3 Pretty Little Stars ::

This is the final installment in the Nolan Trilogy and I would say it’s a 3 star read for me. I was really hoping that this one would give us a semblance of the first book, Temptation (as that really got me into this series) but sadly it did not. This one is filled with a lot of drama, some court room action, and just a small amount of erotica. While I will admit that I do like the premise of this book, it just doesn’t fit in with the series at all (frankly, neither did the second but I read it anyways because I needed answers to questions that were left hanging in the first book). Perhaps if book 2 and 3 were stories told on their own without the first one, it would be a decent series. This isn’t the case though. Once again, I felt the need to read it only because book 2 left in a cliffhanger. Overall, I am satisfied WITH the ending, just not the story as a whole.

In the final installment of "Under Mr. Nolan's Bed", Grace ends up answering most of the questions and tying up many loose ends. This story is more plot focused and less with the erotic scenes.

I'm honestly mixed on this story. The original version of Under Mr. Nolan's bed was taboo and hawt. When this was re-written, it lost a bit of that taboo incest darkness. Instead, the darkness comes through the sacrilegious behaviour of the Catholic priest as well as implications of the Catholic church. This is a hard limit for me. I'm not Catholic. And with all the things I'm okay with, religion, specifically Christianity which for me encompasses Catholics, Jesuits and Protestants does not still well with me.

Grace takes place after Leah's return from her forced pregnancy away from public eye. The big reveals in the story completely shake Leah and Erica's understanding of their past. This story becomes a hot mess of familial connections which may make a reader go, "what the fuck". The way the conflicts are all resolved in such a pat matter also cause for a bit of disgruntlement from me. It's too easy in some ways. It almost comes across as a check list for each item and finding the perfect solution and forcing it to fit in. The coincidences are just a little too frequent.

Still, the story is written well and enjoyable for most readers. For those who have read the first two books, this third one will complete the set and should be read. These books will need to be read in order otherwise it will not make sense.

*I received this book as a review copy in return for an honest review

OMG imagine your father being one of hundreds...almost impossible to know which one. (Also imagine having sex with hundreds of men..that's insane and super sad--she probably wasn't enjoying any of it (I imagine it wasn't all phased out) It's not like you could tell which one was the best if you're being systematically raped.)

Woah, all the revelations about the Marys and Madgadalenes. I kept thinking to myself that when Father Michael was going to confront the bishop, he would just be corrupt too, and that Father Michael, Erica, and Rob all needed to talk so they could learn Rob's plan to take the Catholic Church down with the film. I felt the takedown was way too anticlimatic at the end and it seemed to go farther than just Father Patrick. I mean all these other church members let it go on, there wasn't just one priest that raped everyone; there were literally hundreds.

This book was mainly just them getting Grace back. I knew Grace was the baby in the nativity scene!! Also interesting how this book is everyone's "grace", the Catholic definition of it. The author probably planned it on purpose.

Also, I found the whole Erica falling for Clay maybe almost too convenient as a solution for her not being able to be with Father Michael. Clay was such a virgin too lol, she taught him everything!

PussnBooks.net Reviewing the darkest erotic reads we can find.

This was the last book in the series and it was the perfect end. Finally the HEA I have anxiously been waiting for.

The heartache that all of these characters have gone through is tremendous. Every single one of them.

The twists and turns that mess with your head in the final book are fucking phenomenal!

There was so much packed into this book and it took my head many many attempts to wrap around it all!  I mean, what a mind fuck! I did not see it all coming, really I didn’t! Ok, enough gushing from me.

There were so many characters that held a major role in this story that I can’t really discuss them all.  I can, however, tell you that the following people show up and have quite the story to tell.

LEAH - Of course, is still fighting for her daughter and husband while trying to forgive her mother.

ERICA - Has a shit-ton of information to process and is trying to come to terms with even more heavy shit she learns.

ROB - Is still trying to find his daughter and support his woman but, he also has been hiding even more shit!
FATHER MICHAEL - Is still struggling with his feelings but also learns some disturbing truths about his own family history.
LIZZIE, MARTY, JEAN and FRANNIE - From the girls home, where they were all pregnant show up again!
ELIZABETH - Remember the girl with the rose tattoo on her thigh? Yup, that bitch is back with some amazing intel!
PATTY - We learn so much about Patty and her history and it makes your wee heart stutter.
SUSAN - Erica’s mother, although dead, had tons of skeletons!
FATHER PATRICK - Dirty old bastard has so much more that he needs to be punished for!
THE GOUL - I hate her so much, and she’s back making me hate her more.

I despise the way that women were treated back then, Absolutely hated it.

“They’ll want to force you to submit to a psychiatric exam with one of their doctors. He, of course, will diagnose you as sexually deviant because you got pregnant out of wedlock in the first place, and hence, you may be judged unfit to be a mother.”

“Instead, they’ll label Leah as neurotic. They’ll point to all of those natural reactions of grief—crying jags, bouts of anger and depression, irritability, low self-esteem, anxiety, even chronic headaches and stomachaches—as signs of neurosis that prove her unfit to be a mother.”

SEX SCENES - Again the sex was not the big issue on this book and again that was ok! Don’t worry I won’t be making a habit out of that. It’s just that the first book was super sexy and then I couldn’t not read the next ones. I needed answers!

Such a well-written story. Full of twists and turns, heartache and joy!

Must read series, 4.5 stars

I received this book as an ARC from the author. This story was about Leah and Erica who have all these secrets surrounding them while trying to get back Leah's daughter, Grace. I have to say I was quite disappointed with this book. I liked only a few parts of the story while I was irritated with a lot of the story. I like the relationship between Clay and Erica. It was nice that she found someone so sweet and nice. I did wish we got to read more about Leah and Robert's relationship because after not Temptation (where you don't get to read anything about their relationship), I just wanted to hear more from the both of them. The major irritation with the book is that I felt like a lot of parts in this book contradicted a lot of the parts from the first two stories. It was like whatever was said in the first two books were lies and completely confused me as a reader. For example, the perception of Leah's mother, Patty. Patty was an evil, conniving bitch in Temptation and then in the book, Grace all of a sudden she was just a good mother who was caring for her daughter. This didn't seem like a normal twist in the plot where you could feel that Patty was a good person, but rather it felt like the author made a mistake and had trouble getting her stories right. If Patty was a really good mother, then why did she let the social worker walk away with Grace without telling anyone in the first place. To me the author seemed right with the first plot line, that Patty was just a deceitful person and wanted what she couldn't have, and that was Robert. However, all of a sudden the author made Patty out as a lesbian who was really in love with Erica's mother, Susan. Also, the ending didn't resolve anything for me with Father Patrick. First off, he was this big ring leader of conspiracies but then there was a fire and all of a sudden he was taken down? When did that happen?? How was he taken down from being the leader of the Mary Magdalenes??? The story was also slow a lot of the time. It had gotten kinda boring. I also really didn't like that the ending ended with Erica's POV, I would have really liked it to have ended with Leah because she is the main character of the story. I just felt like we didn't really get to hear Leah's POV in the end of the book. I don't know but this book just completely changed the series for me. This book, Grace kinda ruined it. It was frustrating to no end because all I kept thinking was the author should have just stuck to the original plot lines and wrote the ending based on it. This would have been a much more satisfying ending to the series. I give the book 2 stars and that's being generous.

*** I received this e-book as an ARC in exchange of an honest review.

The first thing I thought before starting Grace was that a trilogy couldn’t be totally great. There has to be something bad in the middle, right? Once again, I’m awed with this trilogy. I read the second and the third book without stopping to breathe. Who needs air anyway when you have a great book?

Grace is the baby Erica and Mr. Nolan made together, and who has been kidnapped. Now they need to be strong to get baby Grace back.
Best friends Erica and Leah are having the worst moment on their friendship. Leah is back home, but inconsolable without her baby. After shocking discoveries on the previous book, Confession, Erica feels almost like a third wheel at her home. Leah is a grown woman now, passing the trials an adult would. All Mr. Molan wants is his girls safe and protected.

It’s time for all of them to reconnect. Erica however has a new friend, Clay who turns to be a great character in the book and made for some funny and sweet moments at the story.

More shocking revelations, more secrets unveiled. Once again, the past has reigned too much over their current life.

The only way to have Grace back is through the legal way, but they’ll have to remain strong. The opposition is going to try just about anything not to return Grace to her parents. But love can really win everything.

When I learned, Under Mr. Nolan’s bed was rewrite on an early time setting, around the Fifties I wasn’t really looking forward to it. However, the details from that particular time was very strong and believable. The cloths, the cars, the church, the convent and a lot more, made for a great story. I don’t think it would be as much enjoyable if it were completely contemporary. Which makes me again, give it 5 Stars. Thank you again, Selena for providing the ARC's. I really appreciated!

I am so glad this third in the trilogy ends as does. It has been a roller coaster of a read. Has been erotic in places and angered me to rage in others. It is well written and in my opinion the best Selena Kitt has written that I have read to date.

Though the justice I would have liked see happen to such as Father Patrick was a variant of what I would have done to him...sliced and diced parts come to my mind. Where the person in such authority totally abuses all he should and could and whilst under the piety of his role as father confessor and moral and spiritual leader...I'm getting angry again.

Had I been Leah, her mother would have remained non persona for good.

I am so glad Erica was able to find as she did, but sorry for what she went through too.

Nr Nolan and Leah for now all is right, some very erotic moments there.

The social worker and legal case was great...the difference between fiction and real life it doesn't always pan out.

I recommend this to other readers but be warned it will be an emotive trilogy.

Has to be five stars from me through and through.

When L.J. Anderson sent me a note to tell me that Selena Kitt had continued this series, I was elated. I read the original Under Mr. Nolan's bed, and knowing that she rewrote them of course I had to start at the beginning.

I felt as though I was on a roller coaster, and just when I thought it was going to stop we would go around another curve. The way everything tied together and the truths that were discovered made me gasp at times.

I loved that Leah sorted out her relationship with her mother and then found out she had a sister, and a twin sister at that. The fact that Rob was indeed not her father made me happy, I was rooting for them the whole time. But indeed if he was her actual father, well that would have been a whole other story.

Erica, God bless Erica...that girl and all that she had to go through. I'm so glad she found Clay, he was perfect for her as she was for him.

Selena left no stone unturned and all of my questions were answered.

Wow. Grace is book 3 of the Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed Trilogy, and you must read the other two books first.
It’s set in the 1950’s and has absolutely everything in it:
Corrupt Catholic Priests
Huge Scandals
Lies
Secrets
Love
Sex
Heartbreak
Circumstances of the era
Heartache
Hate
Forgiveness
Turn of events
And Happily Ever After

I laughed, I cried, and I was completely glued to the pages. From book one I was so struck by this story. The way it makes you feel as a person (should I read this, why do I like this, do I feel bad for liking it, I’m going to hell for definitely liking this) is so strong, it’s pure corruption….but I like it. I love how this story ends, no spoilers from me, but I do honestly absolutely love it. This would have been 5 stars, but I couldn’t overlook the grammatical errors so it’s a solid 4.

Selena Kitt provided an ARC copy for my honest opinion.

I really liked the first part of the trilogy. The story is set in the 1950s which underlines the naughtiness of the plot immensely. Mr Nolan is quite the kinkster for this time. In a secret room of his house Leah and her best friend, Mr. Nolan's daughter, discover nude pictures and porn films they find immensely arousing and thus start to discover their sexuality. Leah falls in love with Mr Nolan and a secret romance evolve with lots of clandestine moments and sexually charged encounters. Personally, I would have loved a great happy ending with the first novel. The second and third part feel like a mix of Da Vinci code and porn films, and I skipped quite some parts because they weren't interesting at all. Personally, I only wanted to know how Leah's and Mr Nolan's story finishes. B for part one, D+ for part two and C- for part three.

I'm going to say 4.5 for this one. Because, I tell you what! this story just kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to find out and not wanting to find out and then struggling to figure it all out! I did not want to put this book down and thank God, it was a weekend so I could just read it all in one sitting!

This book is only 11 chapters long so I was able to read it fairly quickly and the fact that it was so intriguing made me just gobble up the story! Only took about three hours for me to finish.

Very messed up, very complicated, very warped, very awesome writing! If you like this sort of thing this series is well worth the read. You HAVE to read these ones in order.

I was so excited to get my hands on this third book but I have to admit, it left me a bit disappointed. The first 2 books were so hot and had some crazy twists that kept the plot interesting, but this book seemed to lack the excitement of the other 2 books. I didn't connect with the characters like I did before and it felt like the author rushed through scenes. It felt more like she was just telling an abbreviated story just to wrap everything up in the series.

For what it's worth...I thought it was a good ending for this three story series....but I'm still trying to wrap my head around it because this series is so off the other end of the spectrum from the original "Under Mr. Nolan's Bed"! The eroticism is just not there and, I missed that

The ending was quite disappointing. I was hoping for a revolution in the Catholic community but what I got - a small fire and some rehabilitation! Come on! That man should cut into a thousand pieces, very slowly and those christian hypocrites deserved to be shot between their eyes.

Book Review
Title: Grace by Selena Kitt (Under Mr. Nolan’s Bed Book 3)
Genre: Erotic, Romance
Rating: 5 Stars
Grace opens with Erica, Leah and Rob celebrating Christmas in their new home but it is still a sad time since Grace isn’t with them but Rob is determined to get his and Leah’s daughter back whatever the cost. I am excited to see how this final book plays out and to see if anything happens with the blossoming romance between Erica and Father Michael. Rob also proposes properly asking Leah to be his wife so when they find Grace and bring her home she has her family waiting for her and Leah obviously says yes because she adores Rob.
We get to witness the aftermath of what happened when Leah returned home and it wasn’t pretty. At Christmas dinner, she throws everything she knows at her mother and Father Patrick to the point where Rob has to ask them to leave in order to calm Leah down. They end going to see Patty’s boss, who happens to be a lawyer specialising in adoption law and recognises that Leah does have a case but it isn’t going to be an easy one to win but it gives Leah hope for the first time since Grace was born. I also having a sneaky feeling that Grace is closer to home than Leah knows since the boy Erica is dating Clay is the son of a foster parent. His mother fosters babies and children before adoption and they have just had a baby girl given to them which might be Grace.
As Leah and Rob make preparations for their wedding we see Leah try to mend her relationship with her mother. Patty confesses she has no idea who Leah’s father is because there were hundreds of priests she slept with while in the secret society but she didn’t have the same status Susan did. Her father might well be Father Patrick which sickens Leah knowing what he does, we also see with Erica that the Marys are all sterile and the scar on her stomach means she will never conceive which breaks a part of Erica because until that moment she was told she would never be a mum she didn’t realise she actually wanted to be one.
It soon comes to light that there is more at stake than just getting little Grace back, Erica in her anger and inability to become a mother is lashing out by sleeping with Clay whenever she can. Since this series is set in the 50’s it isn’t going to be long until rumours are spread. Rob also adds more to this when he explains that Susan and Patty were lovers and he married Susan because he thought he loved her and it turned out she betrayed them both before she died. Since Rob’s parents are German and he was used as a spy during the Second World War because he could speak fluent German, she provided Father Patrick with blackmail. He was left with no choice but to allow Erica to be brought up in the Mary’s otherwise she would be removed from his care entirely. As revenge he has been working with the CIA and FBI in order to take the entire operation down for the past five years.
Rob explains there is a ceremony held every ten years and it is very special for the society and if he can capture it on film it will be the final nail in their coffin but it is going to happen the following year. Leah understands this and wants to support Rob but she is also aware that if any of this gets out her hope of getting Grace back vanishes entirely so it is a heart-breaking moment for her but she stands by her husband because she can’t allow anymore young girls to go through what she and Erica have been through. It also turns out that Erica and Leah are twins although fraternal with Patty as their mother and Rob adopted Erica while Patty kept Leah.
The mystery finally comes to its end when Leah has to go to court to get Grace back, there everything comes out thanks to the other girls like Leah that were willing to testify. Grace is given back to Leah but they try and stall for time just like their lawyer predicted but it turns out she was much closer. Grace had been given to Gertie, Clay’s mother until he adoption and she is in the courtroom and prove to the judge the baby she has is Grace and returns her to Leah and Rob, now Mr. and Mrs. Nolan. Things only get more dramatic from their as Father Patrick learnt of Rob being a spy and burnt down the warehouse and the church to try and destroy the evidence but was unsuccessful.
In the epilogue we see everyone moving on with their lives as they prepare to have Father Michael christen Grace. However, Erica tells Leah here that she is pregnant and that the procedure to make her sterile wasn’t performed right so she and Clay are going to become parents like she wanted. Leah also announces that she is pregnant although not as far along as Erica and this was the most delightful end to this series. While the first book is mostly smut, books 2 and 3 really hammer home the plot and it was a great end to the Nolan series.

book 3 Grace ; this book ends up answering most of the questions and tying up many loose ends. This story is more plot focused and less with the erotic scenes.

The original version of Under Mr. Nolan's bed was taboo. When this was re-written, it lost a bit of that taboo incest darkness. Instead, the darkness comes through the sacrilegious behaviour of the Catholic priest as well as implications of the Catholic church.
The book 'Grace' takes place after Leah's return from her forced pregnancy away from public eye. The big reveals in the story completely shake Leah and Erica's understanding of their past.

The story is well written and enjoyable.

If you are a Selena Kitt fan this is not her usual writing. I liked this story and all loose ends get tied up. There is not the typical erotic from Selena Kitt. I had a lot of the stuff figured out pretty early. The there is a lot of drama. In my opinion Grace is the best of Under Mr. Nolan's Bed Series. I no this is fiction but I could see this stuff going on today. I don't have a lot of faith in the Catholic Church to begin with. I read in Nolan Trilogy: Box Set (Under Mr. Nolan's Bed, #1-3).

Wow, quite a ride, and the secrets that are revealed will blow your mind.

Again, very rich in details of life in the 1950's.

Was disappointed to see what scenarios didn't make the book, but hey, that's the nature of writing.

I like the way that a little "retroactive incest" was slipped in there. Read it, and you'll see.

About Leah's mother...
I hate Patty, and I still do. She throws Leah to the wolves in book 2, uses that cruel "you'll have more children" comment at the Christmas dinner table, dismissing Grace as if she were as replaceable as a glass or a plate. She gives Erica to her lesbian lover, to be butchered for the sicko rape gang, and when she starts with the nonsensical "I wanted to be a good mother to you" line of BS at the bridal shop, I wanted to strangle her. Leah caved so fast, I had to reread it to make sure I saw what I thought I did. I dislike the forgiveness, way too quick, and I was almost howling with disgust when Leah asks Patty to give her away at the wedding!
And Erica, when she found out, I was hoping she'd blow up big time, but no. Erica caved just like Leah, to a petty, spiteful, hate filled creature like that. I'd toss her out on her ear, and would let her know in very plain language to never, ever try to worm you way back into my life. You lost your daughters, and you lost your grand-daughter, and she made that bed of hatred and lies, and she can lie in it. Very wrong.

And about the fire, and suddenly Father Patrick, the head sicko is taken down, but where's the explanation of HOW he was taken down? Too many twists and tturns, keeping them straight can be somewhat confusing.

The original UMNB is still the best of the UMNB family. The sex in this trilogy was for the most part, very tame, vanilla style. Or, as in book 2, it was ritualized rape by a bunch of perverted Catholic priests. The casual mention how Erica got raped by 100 of them was jolting. Not because I'm a religious person, but rape is violence, not erotica.

I think what annoyed me the most, was the tagline, "the long awaited sequel to Under Mr. Nolan's Bed," no, no, no. It is NOT the sequel, it never was, because if it had been, it would have just picked up from where the original left off. There would have been no need for a rewritten, revised yet again book 1 version. And yes, I know WHY it was done that way, but if it had to be done that way, I think the best idea would have been to sell the original on a good site like Excessica Eden's store, where you can sell the taboo reads, and wait for a more progressive (if that will ever happen) or greedy, when they see the money making they are missing out on, Amazon to join the 21st century. Yeah, that's you I'm talking about, Amazon!

It had to be neutered down to the point where it is nothing more than a sequel to Plaid Skirt Confessions. I am rereading, and enjoying very much, the real, original, not any revised version of ANY kind "Under Mr. Nolan's Bed," and it is glorious. It's like getting in touch with a dear, dear friend that you thought might be gone forever. The orginal is THE best and most satisfying, and I don't think I will ever reread the trilogy. Not even close to the heat factor of the original.
