Brandy Wilson is no stranger to pain; she endured it most of her young life. At the tender age of eight, her mother sold her to men in order to supply her drug habit. After her mother overdosed, Brandy was sent to live with the father she never knew, who promised to give her the world, only to rape her and put her out on the track. While working one night, she meets a gentleman who changes her life and makes her believe that someone finally has her best interest at heart. Soon after falling in love with her savior, she finds out that he’s not the man she thought he was. Fed up with being lied to and used, Brandy vows to never again let another person get close enough to hurt her. Revenge leading to a stacked bank account isn’t enough—she wants more. Coming up with scheme after scheme, Brandy steps on quite a few toes. While doing that, she begins to make enemies along the way; some chalking up their losses, while others want payback in blood. Take this journey filled with drama, sex and lies with Brandy, and see if being Heartless brings her a life of wealth or death.
Cachet was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Wow Brandy was grimey and messy as hell. She didn't care who got hurt in the process. Then she also had a horrible childhood and a mother that was worthless as hell.I loved that the book keep my attention all the way thru.Cant wait to read part two
Cachet’s “Heartless” is the story of Brandy Wilson, abused by both parents forced into sexual encounters at the tender age of 8. She was misused so much that when she grew up, her motto was to get them before they get you.
I found this story to be a good read. There was a lot going on and Brandy was an angry young woman who decided she would never be hurt again. There were numerous grammatical errors, which took away from the book. There was so much brand name dropping that it became a little annoying. Overall, I felt the story line was good and would read the sequel that I am sure will follow. In the future there should be more effort in grammar and less name brand labels.
I don’t know what to say this book was so good, how did I sleep on a book like this? It was like watching a Lifetime movie.
Brandy has been through so much. Brandy is a mess she don’t care who she get over or who she hurts. I can’t wait to read part two This was a excellent book. I loved the characters and the story line. Both the characters and the story line were very well developed
The story will capture your interest from the beginning to the end. The story line flowed very well. All in all, I would recommend that you add this book to your list of books to read this year.
The author did an excellent job and I’m sure you will enjoy this book as much as I did. Thank you to the author for an excellent story
This book was great!!!! Not only did it hold my attention but I got so involved with the story I felt like I knew these people! Theres a few characters i couldn't stand but I'm not going to give the book away. This was the first book I've read by this author and after reading Heartless I read all Cachet's books. So not only do I recommend This book, I recommend all her books. Looking forward to Heartless 2!!!!
BRAND BRANDY BRANDY WOW WHAT A LIFE SHE LIVED NO WONDER WHY SHE THE WAY SHE IS NOW I LIKE HOW THE STORY WAS TOLD IM KINDA MAD IT ENDED LOL CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT HAPPEN IN PART 2
I can't believe it took me this long to read this book! The only thing I didn't like about the book was how it kept going back to her dreaming about her past. I think the book should have started with her past and worked its way up to how she became so heartless. I liked it though.
Brandie Wilson, has had a very hard life. She had a tough life growing up with her mother. She had a drug habit and only cared about getting her next fix. Brandie was not a priority to her mother. Brandy dealt with a lot when growing up. She still suffers has nightmares because of some of things she went through. Her life didn't get any better when she was sent to live with her father. A man she didn't know while growing up. At first Brandy thought everything turned around but she soon find out that's not the case. She deals with a lot from people in her life. All of her situations have molded her into the person she is now. She has no love for anyone and her actions show it.
The drama in the story is good. I have to say the excessive designer name dropping was too much for me. Every time Brandy got dressed the author felt the need to describe every brand name down to the type of underwear and bra. If she wore a pair of sandals the author felt the need to say the brand name. Even when she seen a male character the author described what type of designer the male character's clothes were. It was excessive to me and became annoying and I wanted to start skipping parts because I didn't care what the character was wearing down to La perla undies. The story and the things that Brandy did makes for a good read.
This book was good, not great. It was the Book of the Month for an online book club I recently joined on facebook. There was alot of drama in this book and I could see within the first chapter why it is named Heartless. Poor Brandy couldn't catch a break with either parents. She was doomed from the start. It's no wonder why she ended up the way that she did. She definitely needs some counseling. She had some genuine people who really seemed to care about her, but she dismissed them when they didn't like what she said to them or when they lied to her. When I say dismissed, that is the light term. You have to read it to know what I'm talking about. Brandy was a trip. I didn't like the typos and materialism in the book. That was a straight turn off to me. For a young girl who didn't have much growing up, I feel she overcompensated when it came to material things. She needs to get a job, a real life. Not sure if I'll read book 2.
Goodness, goodness! This here book was just as the title said it was. . .HEARTLESS! I recommend for this to be read or added to your list to be read. That Brandy was indeed a Heartless Bytch! WhooWeee, she was all about self and didn't care who's toes or face she stepped on in the process of getting what she wanted. She gives new meaning to backstabbing. I'm about midway on book 2 and the saga continues, can't wait to see how this ends, I'm thinking not too good for Brandy though. Well Done Cachet!
How do you spell bitch B.R.A.N.D.Y This girl was a messy mean person She did not care who she schemed on She gets shot who done it? You would not know she has crossed so many people I gave this a dive star read and.then.I. added it to both of my book clubs must read now I need part two to see what happens next.
I hope this lying conniving Hoffa get everything that she deserves and then some. She done care about nobody but her own BUTT. The things that she do to people with no remorse whatsoever. Can't wait for Part 2 to come out. Hope Sade will get her Children back, I want Roger to kill her Ass.
Growing up as a child Brandy didn't have the things or love that a child should have had but now being that's she all grown up now the nightmares are still coming at full speed taken her life back now she is never to put her trust into anybody family/friends nobody now she takes revenge on other people but now I think it's finally catching up to her a real good book one of my favorites
Great Read! Brandy was definitely a heartless chick however with a part like that what would you expect. A MUST READ. Can't wait to read the next part #ontothenext #thinkpink #pinkangelpublications
