A round about of facts about Finland. Amusing but slightly repetitive towards the end.
It may be more entertaining for people who already know some features of Finland and Finns (such as installed expat) rather than for newcomers or visitors.

This is becoming my journal of nighttime nursing :D but it took me 3 hours and 16 minutes to finish this. Only one question: why so short? Or maybe a sequel?

Having lived in Finland for almost 4 years, some bits were funny and I found some new places to visit.

The author style of writing is informal with sense of humour. The chapters and topics were made short. Unlike other travel books that I have encountered, this one is fun to read. Some chapters were explained in a smart way using stories instead of mere information.

I have skipped some topics that are not interesting to me at the moment. For example, I did not read the information about the most important attractions in each city. I will use Google or tripadvisor to know such kind of information when needed.

In short, it is very good short and easy to read book about Finland history, culture, costumes, music, geography, politics and many other things. Highly recommending it if you are planing to visit Finland. The country with more than 100,000 Island (I learned this from the book ;) ).

This book has some very good information for ex-pats living in Finland or visitors about culture and places to go. The writing left something to be desired and I found the humor tired. It's a quick, easy read.
