Taylor, Erica, after past experiences, had a strict rule that she followed without exceptions. However, after a bizarre experience, she decided to break her own rule. Would this spell trouble for her or not? Was this the right decision? Why did she make this choice? Read this intriguing book to discover these answers.

I love Erica's character. I found her funny, and I enjoyed watching how she acted when she found herself in a complicated and potentially dangerous situation. The author's use of a non-linear narrative structure creates a sense of complexity and builds suspense, and this captured readers' interest throughout the book. The author showed remarkable storytelling skills by seamlessly intertwining the dream experience with the protagonist's reality, leaving no loopholes. 

Vicki masterfully employed flashbacks to introduce revelations and build suspense without confusing and derailing the reader from the story. Also, there wasn't an overemphasis on plot twists. The author carefully overcame the challenges of combining first-person narrative and non-linear narrative structure, thus creating an emotional connection between the readers and the protagonist. 

I recommend this book to young adults and adults who enjoy a good read. This book is an engaging piece that leaves readers wanting more.

This is a fantastic little read. This fast-paced novella is as engaging as it is quick to read. Taylor's writing allows the reader to experience the story exactly as Erica, the main character, does. I found myself baffled, wondering why Eric was in the situation she was in and whether it was real or surreal. It was fun to wonder how I would react in Erica's situation.

REVIEW:
This is a great read..It is fast paced, a page turner. the author's writing puts you in the story as though you are one of the characters. You wonder why Erica is in the situation she is in and how you would respond to the situations. Ms Taylor uses great descriptions of the characters and the surroundings. Even though the story is fairly short, it expands quite a bit of Erica's life. If you woke up next to a naked man, what would you do? It would definitely be a shock. How do you think Erica handled it? Would you have done the same?

The author likes to bite into the meat of a story and hold on until she has it down pat. That is just what she has done with SECOND GLANCES, SECOND CHANCES. You must read this book and find out about Erica's life and how she deals with the situations she is put in. Thanks for the great novella, Ms. Taylor.
