3.5 overall. Some interesting tales of Fionn and the Fianna. Sometimes they felt a bit short/summarized in their telling, but generally good. However, it seems like the Fianna were tricked a lot lol... dare I say... Fionn was a bit of a fool.... Especially the first tale, I don't know what he expected. The tale of Oisín and Niamh Cinn Óir reminded me of the Japanese tale of Urashima Tarō who was also transported to a palace where he never aged, even as centuries passed back home. An interesting inter-cultural parallel.
(Also, as an unimportant side-note, Oisín's story would have been better at the very end to close off the book of Fianna tales).
