Ramanichandran (Tamil: ரமணிசந்திரன்) is a prolific Tamil romance novelist, and presently the best-selling author in the Tamil language.

She was born to Ganesan and Kamalam in Kayamozhi Village near Thiruchendur in South Tamil Nadu. She began her writing career in the 1970s. Her first well-known novel was 'Jodi Purakkal'.

She has written 178 novels, most of which first appeared serialized in magazines like Kumudam and Aval Vikatan and were later brought out in book format by Arunodhayam. Some of her famous novels are Valai Osai, Mayangugiral Oru Maadhu, Venmayil Ethanai Nirangal, Adivazhai.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I liked the heroine and her in-laws family.

Hero does a wrong thing by/with the girl and he repents. That is the story. He does it very well but I just couldn't get the fact that they both went through with it in the first place. If it was momentary lapse in judgement or it was a spur-of-the-moment thing then it is more logical ( not that it is ok) but it wasn't so. Apart from that, it was nice.

Nikhilan is a bif shot wih a lovable family.When his sister(ranji) faces problems in her marital life nikhil was devastated.While trying to solve Ranji's problems his own past haunts him.To resolve his own mistakes he brings back his past to live in present.the rest of story is how he gets back his and his sis's life on track.

Typical Rc novel with lots of drama.i liked it.
