at times it was good, only occasionally was it moving, but mostly the thoughts the author brought across seemed a terrible product of her community, not in the sense that she understood it and picked her own words, either with or against it, but in the sense that she simply manifested it, almost mindlessly so. I do realize that I personally really dislike the typical teachings and opinions of my saudi society and would certainly not like a talented poet to manifest them so blatantly and strongly. but I know others would and it's not literarily meritless so, 3 out of 5.
