I got this book for free at instafreebie. I read this without having read the previous installments and thought it was an interesting world and I think I would like to read more from this world.

Enjoyable short read delving into how James dealt with the fallout from his time with Helena and trying to deal with his guilt and sorrow over betraying Miri. I would have liked it to go on a bit longer but it gave us an interesting perspective into their relationship and the strength of conviction that pulled them through the dark times.

I loved the Desolation Series, especially Desi but it was nice to read more about James. Just wish it would of been a little bit longer. Ok, I lied, I wish it would of been a lot longer, like novel longer ;)

I was given this book free by Ali Cross. The opinions here are my own. I loved the Desolation series and I missed Miri and James in the last book. That being said this was a fantastic follow up to that book. I really enjoyed it and it kind of filled you in on what happened to James in hell.
